For those that do not know, this is The Lords Prayer in Afrikaans. No wonder the audience is overwhelmed. Magical and brilliant.

Doesn't matter who's on stage with her, Amira always steals the show.

When I searched and listened Amira's songs (almost daily) it popped up unexpectedly. A wonderful gift to make my days.

AmiraFans: Thank you so much for publishing this additional excerpt from the 2016 Afrikaans Is Groot Concert. Astoundingly beautiful, chills upon chills. The clarity of the sound is amazing and wonderful, and very much appreciated. According to the math, I believe Amira had to be 12 years old at the time of this performance (since, as I understand, she was born 27 March 2004), and therefore of course also when she performed Nella Fantasia during the same 'Afrikaans is Groot' concert staged in South Africa in November 2016. This means that all of these landmark performances we now have available from her from that year actually occurred before she was technically even a teenager. (!!!) I find that simply astounding, and although it is only my opinion, I feel performances like these are a great testament to both her courage and her determination, and also to her apparently considerable natural ability, which she continues to develop to this day. I hope that all is well, these days, for Amira and her family, as they continue to chart new pathways in their life, together. I hope we will see more of Amira, soon, when she is ready. The ice skating performance was wonderful, and "In The Stars" is certainly a hauntingly beautiful song. Schilpaddie. :-)
