Rest in peace Diego! 🥀 EL PIBE DE ORO! I tried to focus basically only on the skill and not the dribbling ----------- Music: ♫ March Of Warriors - Instrumental Core
Aww mate, he was revered. You never got to see these guys playing apart from every four years at world cups. Was just such a build up to it. Such an exciting player. We could debate who’s the greatest but I think he’d be 1st pick in nearly everyone’s 5 a side team!
Although my country's national sport is football, I was never very keen to watch matches. However, when I was a kid and Maradona was on TV, I would watch him playing. The guy was just from another world.
Everyone who's ever played with their mates as a kid knows exactly what he means. To take that freedom and innocence into professional football and to highest level is what separates world class players from the special few you see once or twice in a lifetime.
I met him when he, late in his life, coached Fujairah FC in the UAE. He happily shook my hand en route to the training ground, big smile for a selfie. He came across as humble and genuinely decent. It was a unmemorable moment, just a normal fan meet, but for me and my two friends who had a moment with the greatest, a moment never to be forgotten. And I am English!!
@Martin So you think these 3 are better than diego? He was the creator of freestyle football...The things he did with the ball were never been done before..
When you watch Maradona play, you feel as if you are playing PES on PlayStation.. That quick dribbling and those skills we do when we play PlayStation.. His superpowers are beyond the capabilities of other players... He is an immortal legend in football 💪🏽🔥
The GOD of the beautiful game and there will be no other like him in our lifetime at least. Messi is amazing but not to the god status cause the the whole game has changed. RIP MARADONA
@@paradoxmeld2937 don't mind the silly kid, I agree with you totally friend, the man is a national treasure nobody like him from his country who could do all this and win a world cup.
There’s lots of legendary footballers, past and present, and as an English man it’s hard for me to say, but Maradona was more than a legend, he was a higher level, the ultimate footballing genius R.I.P
Breath taking ball control.. So precise touches.. How can u do that in real?? Maradona u r immortal in terms of footballing talent no can even touch you
For those who continue to mix man with athlete: he wasn't an athlete but a football artist. No one judges Caravaggio or Baudelaire for his life, but for his works. Maradona was a football artist, not a football player, so enjoy his works of art and don't judge him, his life did it. Period.
As much as I have nothing to gain in keeping this to my self so also I have nothing to lose in sharing it to those that are interested. My sport betting experience take a new turn when I came across this man. At first,i never thought this was going to be real as I have met a lot of fake people before. Mr Gibbs was the one that made me know what we call odd's rollover, you can actually win a whopping 12500 dollars with just a 100 bucks,he simply makes us accomplish this by providing sure 5 odds from fixed matches for three days, which means 5x5x5=125. It is as simple as this. If you think you can have the benefit of doubt like I do,you can contact him on WhatsApp with +1(445)2236894. Remember you have nothing to lose.
He was literally beyond his time. That level of finesse married with the physique of a bull is just so very special. It's like he was a fusion of the past and the present. May his soul rest in peace...
The world will never see the likes of Diego Maradona again. I start supporting Argentina from 1986 and he is the reason I did and I still them today. Rest in peace legend🙏🏾🙏🏾
Then u must remember forwards like Batistuta, Cannigia, Burrachaga, and Goechchea's penalty saves ... :-) And also the heartbreaking defeats against Nigeria in 90s
@Ademski if you knew about drugs you would know that the very fact he used it, it was the opposite of a performance enhancing drug, it scrambles the thought process, so the fact he done it means he would've been EVEN better if he hadnt
Despite the efforts of almost 40 years the English media and fans (booed him every time he touched the ball in 1987 in Webley, commentators accused him constantly) did not manage to stain his legacy, he is the greatest player of all time and the whole world knows it. I wonder how these stupid commentators feel now.
Sou Brasileiro. Maradona e Messi são 2 gênios. A diferença que Maradona jogava o corpo , a alma e o espírito em campo. Nenhum craque jogava com a alma tanto quanto Maradona.
@@marcoliveira No lose men, Ronaldinho era otro genio. Pero mirando estos 5 minutos de Maradona. Deja en claro que es mejor que dhino aunque tenga mucho fanatismo dhino, pero creo que sinceramente Maradona es mejor.
When people talk about the greatest ever they need to understands that with Maradona you get the whole package. He was amazing team player. He was a leader in the pitch. He was a finisher, assist, had drible, fantasy... And think that in the 80s there wasnt the conditions that football players have nowadays. All the best equipment, pitches, balls, boots, etc. And today players are protected by referees. This guy played amongst the best toughest defenders that history probably saw. He won the serie A with small Napoli. He took Argentina on his back to glory... People that compare him to Messi, CR don't understand that Maradona didn't have all the great players around him like Messi always had in Barcelona and CR have had throughout his career. Put Messi or CR playing for a mid table team and see if they can take them to glory! Maradona is football! CR is the perfect athlete.
Messi made Barca great...before messi, barca had 1 CL and 16 league titles, now they have 5 CL and 26 league titles...because od messi, barca is considered as one of the best clubs in the world...thats a little bit more than 1 league title with napoli...
As a German I feared and adored him at the same time when I was a kid, because we faced Argentina in the finals ´86 & ´90. Pure joy, pure passion. I miss to see him play. The answer is YES. He was the best in history.
@@여자똥꼬 :I don´t see it that way. We beat Hungary, The Netherlands and Argentina two times. In the end you win( or lose ) against a team, not to a single player.
@@koksalozturk2611 Messi's team at Barca won 2 Euros and a World Cup without him... Maradona's teams with Napoli and Argentina were underdogs when they won the biggest trophies in the world.... what else needs to be said? sorry but all the players you named had the best players in the world with them, Maradona was alone
Don't you think Messi has been better overall? I mean, imagine Messi playing in Maradona times, he would have been even more unstoppable, if that's even possible.
I have played football more than i can count. And the reason why I started playing this beautiful game is because of Diego Maradona. For me I think football started because of Diego. He just made me fall in love for this game. And since then it became my addiction. And now he's gone leaving his unique legacy behind, I don't think he died. He is and will be immortal. His football will live on forever and we football fans will always come here and watch his skills, moves, dribbles and goals to inspire ourselves in our lives and give us strength. No matter what's going in your life, how bad its turning out to be, don't worry. Just come here and watch him play as if he's here, doesn't matter how many times. And you will forget everything and leave out all the rest, all the shit things going on. Maradona will be eternal forever. And people who are eternal always stay in our memories, lives standing by our side. Thank🌹 you Diego for giving us something priceless. Your football will live on
Can't believe he's gone. I remember as a kid in the 80's I knew nothing about football but I would hear the name Maradona. That's when I first started watching football and his skills were incredible. The passion he brought on the international stage was amazing.
This is some serious beautiful football skills that i could just cry. Poetry in motion is what i would call this plain and simple. He is the Kobe Bryant of football rest in peace Diego Armando Maradona you are a legend in our hearts forever and you will never be forgotten ❤️😭
@@Tziumannu87 You meant he cannot be compared to any sportsman in a teamsport because football is by far more competitive than any other sport in the world. My comparison would be Sergey Makarov of the Soviet Icehockey team. Like MAradona could do it on his own inspite of the fantastic teams he played in. Had skills no one else had and was available all over the rink. Superb eyesight, could go past defenders like they weren't there and score out of incredible angles. The passing, the contorl over the puck and look at 3:30. That is against Czechoslovakia (and most others against Canada with Gretzky and Lemieux). But at 3:30....Yes, that is the MAradona of icehockey. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1khVnTgHfbE.html And like all soviets. Inspit eof Amerivan referees just looking the other way when Canadians committed foul after foul (tripping etc) he never complained at all. MAradona did neither. A leader, an example. Tough and only going in it to win giving 100%. Sorry: I do not see any of that in Messi.
You're absolutely right! And the thought of how much he was kicked and bruised by the defenders when pulling moves on them but still continuing on with the game...the biggest legend of the game.
The game has changed now not only in terms of player mentality. He did not dive because the referee would not even whistle for such "light" contacts. Nowadays players are more protected by rules thus they tend to try to use this in their advantage

People who says messi didn't faced fierce defender's unlike maradona are just excuses...Messi has faced several life threatening tackles but it's just that his fitness level is on another level and he quickly gets recovered even if he's injured..Also people forget that current defender's are both physically and tactically very powerful
For all the comments I read about Maradona, one thing is nearly always missing. And it's arguably the most influential to him destroying opponents. The strength in his thighs are what allowed him to complete these skills and push away into space before the opposition were able to react. Maradona had the desire and determination to win from a child, and he did the work required despite his vices.

There's never been a more capable and entertaining footballer that I've ever seen. Name any player on earth who has done all of the things in this video. Or better yet, try and name a player who has ever done something on a football field that he didn't. Absolutely no one can.
He was pure magic on the field, he played like no other, I don't care where you were from but when Maradona played, you couldn't help but watch in awe , I've never seen another player like him, there's many great players, but none like Diego, he is a tough act to follow, we can only hope another player like him will come along and bring magic back to the game. As an 8 year old kid in 1986, I was only becoming aware of football and myself my brother and my dad decided to pick a team each to win the world cup. Each of us put a hefty 20p (lolol.) into the kitty so the winner got a whole 60p. I took Italy, my dad took Brazil and my brother Argentina. Jaw dropping, spine tingling and this was an era when he was kicked to death. Just think how much longer his career would have been with the more protection in today's refereeing.
