Sir i get your explanation clearly but I'm getting confused by the terms used by NCERT textbook because according to NCERT, P= epsilon. Chi.E and I'm not getting the point of epsilon here. Please look forward to this query sir.

As on increasing the temperature, the thermal agitation of the molecules or the randomness in their alignment with the field increases. Thus, results in reduced polarisation and dielectric constant.
