As a guy in his 30’s who held on to his first truck from high school, and still plays my first guitar, this song’s always spoken to me, and my sentimental nature. But even more so since my buddy I’ve known since kindergarten passed away a few years ago. We drove my old ford 6 hours each way from central Jersey up to Pennsyltucky for an off road race many years ago. We put more miles on her in a couple of years than most people would in a decade. And she’s still here, now he’s gone. I’m still holding on. Faith, love, and freedom is all we got in the end, and we need to hold on to it in this country, now more than ever. RIP Special Ed.
