Haha yeah! Those doors were off of a f700 they have unique mirrors and door handles that the pickup trucks couldn’t get! I’m shocked by how well it did in the snow without any weight in the bed or tire chains!
2023! I built this thing to be a monster, thank you for the compliment! I wonder what this thing would do with a set of tire chains front and rear! It would be unstoppable
The diesel seems to make it really reasonable to drive good job. I enjoyed the ride ty sir. i fully endorse these old highboys for overland rig. cheers
Why does it run so hot ? I drove a Navistar 9 liter through several winters and in cold conditions it barley made any heat . You had to run 40 to 50 MPH to get any heat and at idle it cooled off to 120 degrees in a few minutes , I wanted my gas rig back which was warm at any temperature but its poor mileage made that a non issue . Diesels are cold blooded by nature , get a proper radiator .
When I built the truck I bought a radiator from Amazon based off of reviews. It is running electric fans which can not pull enough air, and the radiator is half the size of the original idi radiator. I have a much nicer one for it, I just need some time to install it!
