Difference Between Indian And South Indian Music|भारतीये और दक्षिण संगीत मैं अंतर।#32 

The Most Confusing topic in which many students fail to understand the basic difference between of notes between the two streams of Classical Music (North Indian and South Indian classical Music) is being covered exclusively taking the 12 notes into consideration. South also uses 12 notes but in terms of pronunciation 16 notes are being used. Reason is that 4 notes have two names which makes 12+4=16 notes in south Indian music.The logic of giving two names is being covered in this video which is rarely discussed.
