Difference Between ISOMETRIC VIEW and ISOMETRIC PROJECTION In Engineering Drawing
Hello friends,
In this video, you will learn to differentiate Isometric Projection and Isometric View.
Isometric Projection gives you 3D diagrams of the objects.
Front view, top view, and side view we used to draw three diagrams in orthographic projections, Whereas in Isometric Projections you will be able to see all three views in one single diagram.

Yes always 0.82 for isometric projection.

why we have to reduce to 82% in isometric projection

Because its a projection where the object (3D) is not parallel to the plane of projection hence we get reduced length. Then value comes from a derivation.
