Great content.. Thank you so much. I was sooo confused between them all and was very skeptical about no natural look of microshading, but after watching this I am going to microshading♥️
Thanks for this video. I was confused by what to get for myself, but the more I see the more I dislike microblading. People say it looks natural but all I see are Sharpie strokes on someone's face. It looks less natural than powder brows in my opinion. I would rather it look like I'm wearing powder than like I drew lines on my face.
Hey! this video helped me a lot. Now I know what I need: microblading. I tend to have some small parts of my eyebrows where tiny hairs are lacking (despite how long I don't pluck my eyebrows to see if they fill out) and it looks patchy. I do my best to draw with a fine brush and eyebrow pomade and the eyeshadow if needed. In my look for the perfect shade that won't make me look like I used an orange sharpy to fill my eyebrows, is damn hard is to find a shade that matches my hair. I can achieve good-looking eyebrows with my makeup, takes some time to nail the closest natural but sometimes I don't want to take the time to achieve natural-looking eyebrows, or I might go to the beach or simply wake up and go. - My major concerns about microblading are the shade (light blonde colors are available?). - Will it last or I'll need more retouches? Since the color will be light I don't know. - My skin is quite sensitive and dry, also I have atopic dermatitis so I need to moisturize it well. Even during the day, I use an aloe vera spray to keep it nice and not greasy. This mix of dry skin and moisture impacts the retention of the pigment into the skin? If some professional in the area wants to lend me a hand with an opinion, I'm more than welcome! ♥
Thank you so so much for this video very clear and educative. I am a little scared to take the leap but you video is helping me if I was in the US I will go to your institute thanks a lot again 💖
The cost will depend on the artist skills, experience, and location. You are looking at anywhere from $400-$900. I charge $595 for combo brows with the touch up.
Thank you so much for this video!! I’m looking to have my brows done, probably the combo after watching your video. I have very very pale white skin and red/strawberry blonde hair. I’m worried they will use a color too dark for me, any suggestions about color for a redhead? 👩🏻🦰
dle123, just make sure they show you some colors to choose from and make sure that the artist has a lot of experience and a good portfolio of her work. :) good luck 💖
Hello, Great info! When performing combo brows do you shade first and then add hair strokes , or do you create hair strokes with micro blading and then shade last?
The shading will last longer IF performed correctly. Artist that microblade too deep, the ink will be permanent. Permanent tattoos don’t age well, therefore you don’t want it to be permanent because you may end up with blue, purple or dark Gray eyebrows. 😬
Thank you for this video.. I am debating getting my eyebrows done. My question is if you use oil cleansing methods does that caused the brows to fade quicker?
During the first 2 weeks of the healing process, I would not recommend putting any products on your brows. Once your brows are fully healed, you may go back to your regular skincare routine. A skincare routine that causes faster fading are anti-aging products, exfoliates, and certain medications.
Over time, which looks better when faded? I know for microblading, the strokes may become to blur with time, but is it the same with ombre? Is it possible for the colour to be completely disappear over time, or will i need to use saline solution to remove?
Awe, thank you so much Dafna for your kind words. Unfortunately, I don't know any artist in NY, but I do know that there are many! Make sure to check their Reviews and portfolio!:) good luck! Xo
How long is the recovery after the procedure? I am a senior, but the mother of the groom….again. I have events occurring in August and September, so I’m wondering how far ahead I should have the procedure(s). I have frontal alopecia so I have very little natural brow left.
You want to plan this procedure as far away from special events as possible due to the funky healing process and touch-up. You will need a touch-up 4-8 weeks after your initial procedure. It will take your brows about two weeks to heal and one month to fully recover and show the final results.:)
Is it possible to get combo brows if you’ve already had micro blading done (fairly recently)? I’ve had one session of micro blading and want to ask the artist if instead of just a touch-up she could add shading. Of course I have to ask her, but I don’t know if this is even possible, and/or would mean asking her to do a whole different procedure on top of the work she’s already done, or if the shading would be more of an addition? I wish I’d chosen combo brows in the beginning, but since I chose micro blading, what should o do now? What is possible and reasonable to request?
