Difference between Valid Void & Voidable Contracts | Enforceability of Contracts

Your example of restraining from trade is not aptly put. I ween that such a contract is a valid contract. The clauses restraining from trade for a certain time period after resigning from a certain job or dessolution of partnership is is a common practice across the globe. It has been declared legal by superior courts of sundry countries. Restraining from trade may be explained as a part of consideration on one end of the promise. It will be termed illegal and the contract will be void.

Time stamp 5:04 you have written Void contract and below that you are giving the definition of Void Agreement Section 2(G), but you should have given the definition of Void Contract Section 2(J). FYI Void Contract 2(J) and Void Agreement 2(G) both are different

Void contract: is a contract which ceases to be enforceable by law. They are valid in the beginning but later on, these become void due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances. If they are void from the very beginning, then they contradict the very definition of a contract and so cannot be a contract at all.

Voidable contract is not equal to void contract. Unlike your examples. Voidable contract is a valid contract which can't be performed hence becomes voidable contract.

Only Commercial agreement is creating legal relationships between parties. However domestic nature contracts is not considered valid contract. Rest well explained.
