This is the best Corvette Chevy has ever built, and waiting to buy the car for 40 years, believe me I know. Leach Wilson Chevy in Shelbyville IL is selling me, my build of the car. Aaron is my sales rep and he, as well as the rest of the sales reps, have been awesome. They are selling my build at MSRP, and as soon as I get it I will post it on line. These guys need to be commended for being so honest, and willing to work with the customer. They are way better than any other dealer I've dealt with. Most of the dealers are out for themselves, its not that they aren't making enough money but they want to gouge for more. I had one dealer try to sell me a used Z06 that didn't have the Z07 package for over $ 210K??? Golf Mill was the worst they told me they didn't want my build that they would order what they wanted and auction it off to the highest bidder. These guys need to be boycotted.
Have both a ‘23 Z51 3LT HTC & a ‘24 3LZ Z06 HTC and it’s only a 50% price difference comparably equipped. Base C8 is a great car but once you drive the Z06 it’s all over. 😊
Perfect example how numbers can change from driver to driver and lane to lane. Red C8Z 10.7@127 in right lane…to 12.0@124 left lane. And silver runs 12.8@124 left lane. All spun off the line too.
The zo6 didn't take off wrong it breaks loose at the start cause of the power. Both cars are fast and beautiful. I think the regular c8 is a better buy because of the big price difference and only .4 -.5 seconds faster. Especially with the crazy markups on the zo6 the regular c8 is a better buy. The zo6 sounds amazing though. If it was a 20k difference would be a different story. I've seen zo6 c8s sell with a 100k mark up. In less then a week by me. You can almost buy 3 base c8s for one loaded c8 zo6. Some c8s still have 5k -10k markups. The orange c8 was also a convertible and still held its own
Getting my 2020 C8 HTC new for the original MSRP took 16 months and was the greatest feeling on earth and now that they are $10k more for the same car I feel even better. I have the cash but the price gap between my 2020 and a new Z06 doesn't seem to make sense.
20 years ago - that white Camaro was a fast street car. Kinda sucks these days that the average HS kid cant build a budget car in his driveway and mess with a Vette.
The difference between the budget car and the C8 is that the Corvette can do fast laps around racetracks and pull over 1g in cornering. For a budget car to do that, it would cost a lot of money and no longer be a budget car. The Corvette is a superior all around car for anything double its MSRP price.
Both cars could go way faster the base C8 is already a high 10 second car the z06 could do low 10s at 135 mph it’s fast for an na v8 car that’s the same territory as a gt2 rs
Both c8s are nice. The orange one was a convertible and still kept up it only lost by very little. I bet the orange c8 driver was happy. He won 0-60 and lost by very little in the quarter mile. But that's cause of the grip the zo6 breaks loose then grips thats why the eray is faster cause all wheel drive with great grip. I wonder how the zr1 will be? I heard its a zo6 motor with the eray hybrid system, that would be a fast car with great grip
vettes are not designed for the 1/4 mile. I just don't get it why that becomes the standard. Both the Stingray and Z06 are track/road course performers.
Just me and my out sider view but Racing a car that's light body and designed to fast is almost always going to vs a heavy body car that was built more for safety and durability seems IDK silly. Now if we're crashing them that's a different story..
@@alinasser4722 I’ve noticed that too & with the zr1 coming out, possibly takes the attention off the z06 and pricing & a availability will be much better! I can order a z06 at MSRP & no markup at the same place I ordered my c8, but it’s 8-12 month wait
I would take an all original matching numbers 1969 4 speed Yenko Camaro or an all original matching numbers 1969 4 speed DZ302 Z28 Camaro over that any day
Those new Corvettes are just so friggin ugly, I take a vette from the 50's 60's even early 70's. The vettes looks got ruined when they made it a mid engine car. It just looks like every thing else our there.
@@truther4life don’t know what you’re talking about lmao. It’s been supposed to be mid engined since the late ‘50s. This is as close to the perfect design that we have
So a guy at country club told me his Z06 was faster than my Lamb Evo Awd. ... ,ahhh no! No need to race him. I just showed him the video. I ran 10.2 and 10.3 all day in Houston earlier this year. Not worth my gas. Now maybe ZR1 will eat my lunch. We will see 2025. But my Revulto may be here by then.
@sonicloud7774 ain't no damn huracan doing 10.2 STOCK lol. That's 911 Turbo S category and that shit rips. Huracan is pretty identical to the C8 Z06. That dude lying his ass off lol
Yea the substitute is a Z06 for less money. 911’s are old outdated, overpriced, underperforming for a lot more money than a Corvette Chief. Your just a Porsche fan boy and their days are over. Corvette rules.
