Hello happy new year 🎊, thank you for welcoming me☺️and yes I’m very much enjoying my time here. I love the fact that there are people from different parts of the world in the US and I love nature btw. I’ve been busy with school and everything else the past year and haven’t had the chance to visit that many places. That’s my goal for 2021🥰I’m gonna try and explore different states and see all the beautiful gifts of that nature has to offer.
Great video... by the way in the U.S. it is rude to stare at people so the smile is actually a way of being polite when you make eye contact with a stranger. But yes, it can be seen as fake as well, haha! I would love to see an update to this video especially for someone from the US going to Kenya.
That could be true, my only problem is that it's very fake, not an ounce of realness in the smile most of the time😅 yes I will definitely do a video on going back to Kenya. I'm sure I'll have reverse culture shock 🤣
I like how you speak and I had no trouble understanding that you are asking for a glass of water unfortunately there are lots of people in America that have not had exposure to other languages or cultures and so if someone doesn't ask something perfectly and sometimes even if someone is born in America from a different part of the country they might have a little trouble understanding what they are asking.

I recently met these two guys who asked for our names( I was with a friend) we told them our first names and they responded by asking us ‘what are your real names?’ They thought that we were giving them fake names which we thought were easier to pronounce.They also corrected the way we pronounced some words and complained about their lecturer who’s Chinese. They ranted about how he pronounces words and stuff.They had literally no idea about what the rest of the world is like, zero exposure. We live in an age of technology and if you want exposure, I believe you can get it.
I totally get you about the lasagna. I agree with you, Kenyan food is healthier and tastier. The one thing I’ve never liked and I’ll probably never like in my lifetime is pizza. I can eat a piece and that’s about it
First time kula pizza ilikuwa I think this place called Gallitos in 2017,I’m not sure kama that’s how it’s spelled. I really hated that taste and I guess ever since sijawai tu penda pizza

Take care of the diet there, eat healthy, I hear of stories about the diet there. A big proportion of the population there is overweight and obese, usirudi KE with over 215pounds! Do take care.
My experience has been great so far. My thinking has really expanded because I have met and interacted with a lot of new people. I prefer being back home majorly because of the food🤣🤣 I still love it here though because of the massive opportunities.
In my university the calculation of grades is the same like you are graded from attendance group work projects tests quizzes and stuff😂😂 guess we are lucky ps🇰🇪 Kenyan uni
Good to know, I haven't been to a Kenyan uni. I was mostly referring to the Kenyan high school system🙃, you know how it's all about grades and kcse, literally nothing else 🤦🏿♀️
Google it, it’s actually international. Very common here in the US even though it’s informal. I’ve realized there are so many things that I used to think are ‘Kenyan’ but they’re actually in other places as well
We don't generally have cisterns on top of our homes like other countries due to safety and environmental reasons. Plus our greedy country make us pay for tap water.

@@leelofty4485 I came here as a student to study in college. I had to apply for a visa, take exams, go for a visa interview etc, I had to go through all the procedures for being an international student.
