My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 2012 Class A Coachmen Mirada named “Miranda” and tow a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot”. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

I have a question i you have a lot of solar on top of your RV yet you put so many outside in an angle in the desert at this time of year is that necessary are the ones on the roof of your RV not in the right position or something. I get all my education from solar from you so keep up our education please 😂

It doesn't get "easier" but it the pain will dull a little. There will always be those times when it just hurt so much. Something will just hit you and let you grieve a little more. That is a California Barrel Cactus, Compass Barrel Cactus, Desert Barrel Cactus, of Miner's Barrel Cactus, etc. (Ferocactus cylindraceus). I know it has many common names.

Saguaro are very slow growing cactus. A 10 year old plant might only be 1.5 inches tall. Saguaro can grow to be between 40-60 feet tall (12-18m). When rain is plentiful and the saguaro is fully hydrated it can weigh between 3200-4800 pounds.

Eric I just wanted to compliment you on your delivery. There are no "ums, ahs, or you knows." I'm sure you have to do a lot of editing to get a few glitches out but you're very easy to listen to. I think you could very easily have a career in voiceover. You did say that something was coming up where you would be narrating I think, but I don't remember what it was.

Im glad you are spending time with our girl Amber. I was just on a zoom call with her this afternoon! She is a sweetie pie and since we are all PNW former and currenr residents we have something in common. It hurts my heart that the loss of your sweet Jax is still so raw but I think many of is who owns pets can totally understand. They are our babies and especially for those of us who dont have children these pets are our only families. Never appologize for tearing up or being sad over losing Jax. It just means you are a human with a heart and that is never a bad thing. Have fun in AZ and its fun seeing you catch up with all of your nomad friends. Looking forward to the travel announcements. Can’t wait!!

Oh, please don't pressure Eric to do that - it's going to be really hard to create. If anything it may be done piecemeal; a bit here and there as his emotions can handle the burden. At least that's how I imagine it being done - if at all. No matter how much time goes by creating such a thing will be very difficult. Only Eric can gauge such an undertaking. Putting pressure on him to do it just makes it that much harder.

So wonderful to have many fans that just appreciate & enjoy you, Tara and Opie. Tara is a prim & proper lady (so sweet with her pink flower that matches her tag so well) and Opie is one adventurous little guy. Once Opie is well-versed in the outdoor buggy with you, you can try Tara next. It's alright even if she just sits behind Opie. @ least, she won't feel left behind. You're a good man Eric with a couple of great furkids. As always, personal privacy & safety comes 1st as you do have a prominent online presence. Just enjoy your videos & love your furbabes. ❤💙

Lost my 7 month old chocolate lab puppy, Timber, 2 years ago , she dug out and got hit, all while I was on the phone selling some furniture. I feel guilt to this day. I still see her running and playing, etc. I wish I could tell you it gets better fast. It's slow going. My new puppy, now dog, is a gem. She doesn't replace my Timber though. I find that I am possibly overly cautious with my dogs, on leash all the time, or I check for all gates to be closed before playing, etc. I wake in the night to check that my dogs are still breathing. My heart can't take another loss.

Having lost our beloved husky very suddenly and unexpectedly only 12 days ago, I am choking back tears once again as you continue to grieve Jax. It's been a rough few years for us as we have lost 2 cats and another dog, and now our Poochie too. The heartache is always there, below the surface and although we can now remember them and smile and laugh about their antics, it is in those quiet moments that the grief suddenly rears up again. So, no, it doesn't get easier, but it does become less painful, less sharp, and in time, we can remember them without the pain and just the love and joy they brought into our lives. I am so thankful for all the animals who have been a part of my life over my 60 years. Much love to you, Eric, Tara and Opie.

Eric, give yourself at least a year to get your feet back underneath you. It takes time to grieve a loss such as you experienced. My heart goes out to you. I still cry sometimes and it still hurts after the loss of my girl Sweetheart and it's been since 2009. I know she is in heaven and I'll see her again, but it still hurts. Those of us who love well also grieve deeply. God bless.

Eric, I’ve been a subscriber for 5 years - ever since I discovered nomads on You Tube. We loved Ajax too. You asked when does it get easier? Our 14 1/2 year old kitty, Mac passed away in 2013 - 9 years in September. Got to tell you, that there are still times when the grief grabs you and it’s still fresh. But we have another kitty, Miley, who we adopted8 months after losing Mac. It’s better most days, but Mac is still with us too. ❤️

HEY ERIC, I hope you are having an amazing day. I love the Jax stuff you got. And unfortunately no it don't get easier. I lost my dog 13 years ago and I still cry. But what you can do is take him with you like I do. Carry Jax in your heart and in your memories like we do that lover him so much. And most important let's celebrate his birth not his passing. And I have April marked in my calender for his birthday. And I miss Jax so much. But u can't wait to see what your future plans are. Please have an awesome day!

Palm canyon Kofa is our favorite place to camp in the Quartzite area,hands down. The LTVA is horrible IMO.

Takes a long time to get past when you have such a connection. Someone stole my beautiful Jack. He was a flame lynx Siamese. White with Siamese markings in soft red tabby (peachy) with ice blue eyes. 6 years later I still wonder if he's okay. My dog and his sister still miss him. We will see our pets again. I believe that.

It's not that it gets easier it's just that you learn how to work around it. My 2nd cat Jill passed 2 years ago and Jack the 1st one passed away 5 years prior and I still have cry moments. Also, like you said luckily you have Opie and Tara to give you love and that helps take the edge off.

Eric why do you use 4 rows of portable solar panels on the ground when you already have the huge solar system panels on top of your RV? Did your big solar system fail or break or it's not enough solar to power your air conditioner? I'm planning my solar system in the future and I'm confused on what to get. I want the most reliable and dependable system and the best deal since I'm on a budget. Just wondering why your using 4 rows of portable solar panels instead of your big solar system.
