So I finished reading Breakers to my 7 year old son, and what a great surprise to find out that there was this fabulous song to finish it and bring such a positive message. He said that he loved the book so much, thought the song was brilliant, and then talked about not bullying people, and how people are different on the inside and how God looks at the heart not the looks. He talked about how the class bully turned out to be kind once you looked inside.

Got my now 8 year old this book at Christmas. We’ve just finished it tonight and we’ve absolutely loved the story! Every chapter has been exciting and we’ve loved how the story evolved. It’s the most excited my daughter has been about a book, she has always been a reluctant reader. I read this book to her but she followed along. Thank you for writing such a brilliant book. We’ve started the danger gang a few weeks back and we are just as excited for that! Thank you!
