Absolutely Love your work, attention to detail, just everything about your channel has been a wealth of information. Im on the east coast, and I havent seen anyone take as much time as you do in providing all the information and sharing your knowledge. Your masterclass is a bit high for me at the moment. We use a squeezed PT smooth pine here on the east coast. That stuff looks nice, I'd buy it if it were more avaliable. The PT we have here is pretty decent but it splits as it dries and the pines are very young, generally harvested around 20 years old so they're not super dense grain structure which blows

Most every deck I’ve built has been 2x8 PT but next deck is a carport with a 14’ span with 2x12. Just don’t see the value in PT in a dry space. Nothing exposed. The PT we get here in Medford Oregon is some nasty looking shit. I wouldn’t want to look up at it!
