Michael and KITT show up in the episode, "Hooray For Hollywood". Sadly, William Daniels isn't voicing KITT here, but at least they let KITT remain his usually sassy self.
The car that used for KITT is one of the cars that was actually used in the series for the 2 episodes was the season 2 hero car as I learned from Knight Rider Historians this car still exists today as it's one of the 5 surviving screen used cars as KITT.
Diff'rent Strokes was shooting their episodes at Universal Studios Hollywood, so the cast wasn't far from where they were shooting Knight Rider. Figured the cast might stop for a "visit."
I love how they continued the idea of what William Daniels did by not allowing him to be credited as the voice of the car and continuing the myth that car really is a talking computer even behind the scenes being shot for an episode of knight rider. They could have easily had no lines recorded at all for the car on set Or to be true to what really happened a girl using a walkie talkie would say kitt's lines and David would reply with his. After the show was recorded William daniels would record his lines at a sound studio while he filmed Saint Elsewear.
@@ryandiggs750 I wasn't talking about this episode of different strokes.I was talking about the real series knight rider. However in this episode, they made it funny to show that kitt was real and talking to the actor David Hasselhoff in reality.
The line from knight rider 2000 is kitt saying "No one likes a smart ass automobile." Talking about the next generation kitt car Which was funny because that was what he was in the eighties.
