Answer : When we actually take the derivative of f(x)*g(x), f(x)= g'(x)h(x) + g(x)h'(x), we observe that if g(a)=0, then the non differentiable function h(x) gets automatically nullified i.e f(a)*g(a)= g'(a)*f(a) as g(a)=0. Hence, we have that f(x) as differentiable at a if g(a)=0 when h'(x) is non defined at that point.

It works because of multiplicity becomes greater than 1 when a at g(x) becomes zero and when multiplicity greater than one for modulus function it is differentiable
