This was the funniest, darkest, most brilliantly written show out there and the cast is amazing.. I have watched the 3 season so many times and it still kills...so terrible Hulu didn't renew this superb show.

everything is a ripoff of something, that's called perspective. and he was Billy on the Street before this, which was ridiculous(ly /and) hilarious this show is amazing and i wish @Netflix would pick it up and continue as Hulu has apparently canceled it.

You know I think some people get the appeal of Seinfeld wrong. Styling their characters after them and making them unlikable. The Seinfeld characters aren't unlikable, they're just assholes. Those two things can be mutually exclusive. While I'm pretty sure every unlikable person is an asshole, every asshole isn't an unlikable person. And it seems like sitcoms get that wrong. This is just a theory of course, no evidence that these characters were even influenced by Seinfeld, but regardless that's my take on them.

Whenever I watch a video and a ad for this show pops up I mute the video then open a new tab and watch a stopwatch until 30 seconds expires. That's how much I fucking hate this show.

To be honest this show has so much potential but it seems like a cartoon in the sense that every thing seem to always return to normal in the and their is no true story line. Maybe thats what the makers were going after but i personally would prefer a story line to better enoy the series

I THINK THAT WAS THE REASON IT GOT CANCELLED AFTER THREE SEASONS. I LOVED EVERY EPISODE, BUT IT WAS ANNOYING THAT THERE WASN'T ANY ONGOING THREAD, NO STORY, JUST ONE DAY THINGS.

You're the worst makes literary references. Difficult people makes pop culture references. While they're both focused in narcissistic people, they're different. You're the worst premise is about two similar people who are cynical about relationships, who meet randomly at a wedding being in one. Difficult people is about two friends that are unemployed struggling comedians. Their lives, world views, families and friendships are vastly different. I guess they both feature a red hair lead and are dark comedies, but I think that's where the similarities end.

You couldn't be more wrong... hahaha. First of all, You're the Worst is all about being in a relationship, which is why I don't like it... The age demographic is also different, as are the references: Also why I like this more than You're the Worst. The character development is completely different. The only thing that is similar are the names of the shows. ^_^

Its all written by the series lead Julie Klausner and based on her experience as a struggling comedian. Prior to this she had written for Billy on the Street and had done a podcast satirising pop culture figures. I find it funny, although a lot of humour is derived from everyday experiences and not solely on celebrity. It's not for everybody, but there's merit to the comedy.
