@tylerg417 I'm truly sorry to hear about the traumatic injury you sustained, but it's incredible that you've come through such a serious ordeal. A grade 3 diffuse axonal injury (DAI) is severe, and being unconscious for four months shows just how tough that journey must have been. You're absolutely right-you're incredibly lucky and strong to have survived. Recovery from such an injury can take time, but your resilience is inspiring. Wishing you continued strength and healing as you move forward!
@@MedicalCentric I didn’t give up on rehabilitation nor strength. Whenever I got home I went from 210lbs being hospitalized to returning home at 145lbs. Just imagine got moving for months. I regained consciousness In October then returned home on November 2, 2022
I have a diffuse axonal injury, and I'm SO SO thankful for this video bc it's sooooo educational!!!! 🤩 Since my case of DAI is pretty severe (got in my accident in April 2016 and STILL cannot walk independently 🤕), I am praising God SO much for my life, *especially* bc this video said severe cases likely end in a vegetative state or death!!! 🥲
My brother diagnosed with grade 3 DAI..still unconscious..when did you regain consciousness? How months will take for full recovery and hospitalisation?
