We also used to add CTO over cool ceiling lights to convert if needed. Cloth is easy to fix for side cutting..Nice to see that u also follow these steps.

I have these in my studio space... I installed a dimmer and jabbed shoot-through umbrellas over them - poked 'em right through the sheetrock. A little messy at first but works like a charm.

Yes!! Always defuse the overhead lights. It always creates hotspots on the talents forehead

I've used a white trash bag gaff taped to a ceiling fan's light fixture before. Actually turned out decent, lol
