no, true diffusion restriction is black on the ADC-map, might be some T2-shine through or ADC-pseudonormalisation in case of a subacute ischemic infarction.
Basically any situation in which there is facilitated diffusion (high on ADC) in a T2 hyperintense lesion, like (often but not always) in vasogenic edema for instance
