Oops, I'm here a few months later but John, you looked like a little kid on Christmas morning with your digs. I hope to see you on more adventures with your metal detector. Have fun!
"In local news, a Wisconsin man found an important piece of the oak islend treasure. Unknown to him, it has been sold on $2 day at his warehouse. When asked about the events, all he has to say was, "I'm like a pirate. I find treasure and pass it along to my customers at our warehouse sales. The next sale is coming soon!" -Signed a random rabbit.
Each place has its on rules. My understanding is that the city of Green Bay allows it in their parks with certain stipulations. I know that some suburbs and nearby towns do not allow it.
I would guess Paul has not been metal detecting for very long as he isn't pin pointing his find very well without making huge holes. I detect and, just by the sound, usually find the item and find it within inches in surrounding spot. Oh well, your yard, you both had a good time and that is what it is all about.
He just bought the one he was using, so I’m assuming it takes some time to get used to. He’s been detecting for a long time, as far as I know, and he runs a local metal detecting club.
@@whatsjohndoing Well that make sense. I have been doing it for many years(since the '60's) just never seen such large holes. Next time will be better I am sure. I still enjoyed watching you two metal detect though.
