Digging purple fluorite crystals that look like amethyst 

Digging crystals collecting gemstones minerals in France. In a wooded area, Kristian Egberts and Daniel Middel are looking for purple fluorite crystals which almost look like amethyst! In this video they explain how to recognize a fluorite vein, even if it doesn't seem very interesting at first. By breaking open the rocks, such a vein can become much wider and even contain cavities. It is in these cavities that crystals can grow. In this video they show this step by step.
