Yep, most of my areas are super flooded right now too....it has been a pretty wet dry season so far.

That sounds like a very cool place. Yes, meg teeth are nearly unheard of in Texas, but I think they're too hyped anyways. TX has killer mosasaur fossils and other super cool stuff.

They fear me! 😁 Nah, for the most part, alligators are given way too bad of a reputation, largely perpetuated by television and media. I've been in rivers with large gators sunning themselves on logs on the banks and they don't care. Usually if you give them their space, they give you yours. Its cases of mistaken identity that you have to be careful of.

Lol, wrong. The site is too concentrated with microfossils to be nothing but rocks in a bag. This stuff comes from the most concentrated Miocene fossil site I have ever found in all the time I've been hunting. I'll make sure to show actual live microfossil screening there in future vids for anybody skeptical 😉

@@PaleoCris You don't have to take my advice but I would guess when it comes to running a business I probably have more experience than you. 1. If you want to sell bags of rocks that (and this is important) may or may not have fossils in them. If you are not adding teeth I would say nothing other than "they are unsearched bags that MAY contain fossils". That way the buyer knows they may get a bag with fossils or one with no fossils since it is possible. Never make the mistake thinking it can't happen when it certainly can. 2. Add teeth or don't add. I would add teeth to the bags. Saying that the bags are unsearched is true, the continents inside have not been searched. Adding teeth to the bags would not be lying instead it would insure the buyer gets something for their money other than rocks. You don't have to mention the teeth were added simply say they are unsearched bags nothing more.

There is no "may contain fossils". They do. Hundreds, in fact. The gravel itself is probably 3-5% fossils with shark teeth, ray plates, casts of shells, shrimp and crab claws, bone fragments, fish teeth and spines, etc. I have Pleistocene sites that are currently flooded where the gravel itself is made up of solid fossil bone fragments with no rocks. It takes a lot of work to find a good microfossil site, but you get hundreds of fossils in every screen when you do. I just bought a macro lens for the camera I film with. Maybe I'll make an entire vid on this stuff to clear up any confusion.
