I'm still amazed by the visuals and production elements going into these videos. I dont even play this TCG but I understand what's going on, get my dose of Digimon nostalgia, and it feels like I'm watching a TCG anime. It just looks so cool man.
Yellow did such a crazy combo with all the security 3 stuff, but musketeers just had sooo much value with those beelstarmons and Omegamon Zwart. Definitely an interesting one to watch.
Wow, this match is just amazing and your production has gotten so much better. Dynasmon's synergy with Angewomon and Mastemon is off the charts. However, you might be the first person on youtube I've seen that managed to play Bellestarrmon for free.
Excellent video, I sincerely thank you for putting the texts of each card when they activate their effects. You are the best, keep it up ... PS: That Beelzemon entry was epic !!!
Yeah, Purple takes a ton of damage in early and mid game. However, if it can survive for long enough, it'll burst out some severe counter-damage thanks to basically having moved the entire deck to the Trash by that point.
Ya, no joke I thought the game was set until the 7 minute mark or so where Paddy was able to turn it around. Great play on both combatants here but Paddy truly knocked it out of the park here.
@@guncannon109 They stack the decks before the video and plan the whole game out. Didn't you notice they always have "epic" games and "epic" comebacks? It's not a secret
this game seems way more balanced then any other tcg/ccg ive played this far. the shared resource makes it really fair and you have to think about your plays unike to games with no resource (yugioh) where u slam your deck turn 1 or MTG where u get land screwed or flooded and cant play at all. i think ill get into this
I thought the same too, I'm looking for battles to see how is the game and I'm digging it, that bellestarmon deck seems crazy and I have never played the game though but I understood all the plays, great video.
Every time. Every time I think the game is over, the "losing" player pulls the victory out of thin air. I call Yugi BS! Love the channel, keep up the good vids!
I got to try this game for the first time yesterday with some friends. It took them a bit to convince me because I’m not really pulled into card games very easily. But I caved in and we did best 2/3 rotations. We only played with 2021 red starter decks though and right now out of the 3 of us I’m the only one with a 100% win rate. Three Musketeers was what really caught my interest when I was looking for how to build my deck. This definitely helps how I want to go about it and I’m excited to make my own.
You need to make some.more BT6 videos for the American audience (meaning me lol) Your videos are amazing and I love the care and attention you put into your videos. Thank you for explaining cards, being exciting and fun, and having a nice view of the decklists. The little animations and sound effects are awesome. Please keep doing God's work 🙏
well my Mastemon Danger Zone deck, it was a fun ride, but it is time to retire for a brand ne- *sees Dynasmon debut* .....a brand new revamp! DAYUM! that deck was cranking like a well-oiled machine!
The yellow deck seems more balanced and gets an early start but the purple decks looks like it's needs to cycle through a lot of cards before it's effective.
The musketeers deck seems kinda slow... There's alot of setup before fully unleashing it's potential... And the boss cards are in different colors so it kinda breaks the synergy of the deck... But still good content as always...
Ok, gotta say, Dynas is absolutely amazing! Even though I hoped it lost, it actually made some amazing plays. But in the end, even a Royal Knight is no match for the Three Musketeers!
So I built this bellestarmon deck almost 1:1 I don't have *all* the cards, but I'm only off by like 4 or 6..... It is super bricky, is that normal? I feel like I'm just not having a lot of success with it. =[
man atm one of my friends in local tcg is running three musketeers with beelzestarmon as well and just steamrolling us. Another video showing how strong the deck is
You do have to pay the memory first, but the turn doesn't roll over to the opponent until everything that needs to happen on your turn resolves first. In this case you attack with the blocker, paying two memory which rolls the memory past zero, but the turn doesn't end until you finish the attack. This is also how you can do things like evolving the Dynasmon putting the memory to one, but not pass turn my having an effect chain that puts memory back to zero (in this case before it becomes the opponent's turn you must resolve the Dynasmon to trash a security, which then triggers the Wizardmon inheritable to gain one memory moving memory back to 0 before passing turn). Hopefully that clears things up a little!
So from what I gather I can tell each deck color has their speciality Red has high attack and breaks Blue benefit from evolution sources and cuts them down Yellow is about security Purple is milling deck What are green and black playstyle?
Black is VERY defensive. Huge chunky blockers, blockers able to block multiple times. Not able to nuke blockers with card effects (thanks Craniamon) as well as De-digivolution. Green seems to be more of a 'grab bag' kind of color. a lot of green decks i think tend to rest opponents digimon before taking advantage of that.
As said by others, Black is the "defensive" colour, boasting big blockers and its primary type of interruption is De-Digivolving (outside of some oddball Black decks like D-Brigade or Diaboromon which are their own archetypes). To answer on Green though, they're more of a "fast evolving" kind of deck - a lot of their cards are cheap to evolve but expensive to play, and as of the current card pool are the only colour to have Download/Digisorption to allow for VERY fast and aggressive evolution. Their main form of removal is through suspending the opponent's Digimon and just attacking over them, so a large number of their cards get benefits if you delete Digimon by battle, and while not exclusive a fair few of their boss monsters have piercing to capitalize on this as well. So tl;dr Green is about making cheap stacks and suspending/attacking Digimon, and Black is big blockers go brrr.
@@acnologia7771 Jogress is a term used for the Japanese TCG of Digimon. In the west, we call it 'DNA Digivolve'. That ability came out with starter decks 9 and 10, for Paildramon and Mastemon, alongside booster set 8 (like Silphymon and Shakkoumon).
@krdecade47 While i'm relatively new to the game as well, if i'm not mistaken, this set is shown before Jogressing is a game mechanic in the Digimon TCG. While Omegamon and Mastemon do exist as Digimon prior to bt8, they have a simple requirement of digivolving off of a either color. Omegamon needs red or blue, and Mastemon needs yellow or purple. So CardProtagonist just performs a regular digivolution over Rizegreymon here @6:13. While Rizegreymon appears to only be a red digimon, he has an effect that states while he is on the field during your turn, he counts as a yellow digimon as well.
Mimicmon's gain 2 memory if you have 3 or fewer security is an (on play). It needs to be hard played, not digivolved; so played like the Promo Pulsemon.
If you like Digimon Frontier, then you're gonna love BT7: Next Adventure. BT7 (This channel did a video of Lucemon FD vs EmperorGrey which are both BT7) focuses on that season. BT8: Next Hero focuses on Digimon Adventure 02
I love how no one noticed he digivolved a Red Ryzegreymon into a mastemon that can't go over a red AND THEN JOGRESSED WITH A DIGIMON INCAPABLE OF DOING THAT
