i wish the remixed the original battle theme from digmon as well. I of course refer to the battle theme you heard when fighting the stronger noormal enemies. That was honestly the best soounding battle theme from the original game.
i love the nostalgic trips i've taken while playing this game on the PS4, it's all brand new, but remixes of the original's soundtracks and stuff like this just makes it all kinda nostalgic too. essentially it's the same game, just with more content (my brother and me misses the fishing-mechanic a little tho). kinda brought me back when in FF15 they had little icons of the characters looking like sprites from the old games, was nice too, but hell; DMW FTW!
Who else thought Piximon would be an easy prey after seeing her for the first time, ignoring the fact she warned you beforehand she's a FUCKING ULTIMATE LEVEL, then proceeds to nuke your puny Rookie/Champion?

holy cow. an awesome modernized boss theme from DW1 EDIT: i forgot to mention how i first heared this awesome song. it was my turn to play with my cousin's ps1 at the time and i saw that he isnt playing his copy of digimon world maybe because hes either uninterested or dont know how to play it. so i played it and the moment i got my initial agumon to digivolve to a champion(forgot what i got), then i tried epxloring west towards the mine and got rekted almost instantly by the dinogrimon guarding it(the drill digimon) then i was accessing menus hiping to find the healing item, i dont know what are what before but gigimon did gave me a care package for starters and didnt notice i have a revive disk and let my digimon die once. after that i learned my lesson and steered clear of that place for a while and learn my items. as it turns out, i used an antidote disk to heal my digimon hoping it was the HP floppy. afterwards i trained a little till my current digimon died of old age, reborned to another agumon but this time i got greymon. many quest laters i got my ultimate and it was a skullgreymon. i was bummed i didnt get the purple metalgreymon.

Ice Sanctuary Intro was remade and used throughout the Frost Cathedral area in Absolute Zero. In fact much of the Frost Cathedral/Absolute Zero area itself is a remake of the Freezeland hill leading to the Ice Sanctuary and the Ice Sanctuary itself. Looks great, perhaps one of the most visually appealing areas in the game. Other than that and this battle theme, not much else. All new, both areas and music.
@@TheLQGaming well in the game Frost Cathedral is the Ice Sanctuary from DMW1 but was teleported away by Jijimon and Mameo because it holds too much "evil" influence.
Can't wait to hear this on the steam release. I used to play digimon world 1 as a kid and it was the hardest game I had at the time; a game that always beat me even with a walkthrough. But I decided to keep pushing on through and not let it defeat me. Imagine my surprise when I finally got a leomon; so I kept training and got metal greymon. So I went to finally finish the game for the first time and just before the final fight; he digivolved again. Metal Greymon became Machinedramon; with no idea who the final boss was I went in and it was... Machinedramon. Machinedramon vs machinedramon, the final battle. I never forgot that day. It was like the game itself wanted one last grand battle with just skill as the decider. To know this song is here is like an old friend welcoming me again.
