Digimon X VS Digimon 20th Anniversary 10 Differences | Digimon VPet Comparison 

I never have digimon vpet before, so I think I'm going with the 20th anniversary because it's close to the original one.

Actually, Training can also help in reducing weight of your digimon, which is makes it agile and evade attacks from enemies more efficiently. But, You have to be careful as to how much weight you loose/gain, for best results

To answer the question of the amount of Digimon I feel like if you’re an adult who’s going back to have a nostalgia trip X is the better version to get. Less mons means you can collect them all but honestly if I’m gonna have a limited roster then I want that limited roster to have the coolest Digimon to make up. And the areas is pretty cool. Gives u something to do it makes up for fewer Digimon. and if you’re younger or have a lot of time on your hand, then the 20th is pretty cool. The training is better. The tag teams are fun but if you don’t have anyone to play with then kind of lame you can have all the Digimon but if you have no one to play with, it’s not as fun. and again only good for a nostalgia trip. Unless you’re in a community and pay extra for that little gadget to play online.

The 20th reminds me of the Tamagotchi I had as a kid, overfeeding or underfeeding were a key feature to getting certain Tamagotchi families like the ninja or sumo family. I kinda like that. The multiple digimon at once & the UI also reminds me of that Tamagotchi... Maybe I will have to go with a 20th for that feeling of discovery that I loved as a kid, messing around & figuring out how to get each type.

20th anniversary you should look up the sleep times and set your device to be at that time when you need to be at work, they take like a 6 to 8 hour natural sleep cycle so if you manual sleep then let it hit natural sleep you can get about 10-11 hours of sleep time out of it without having to touch it.

Digimon X seemed like the best one until the point about it only having 30 Digimon... 😐

Something else is they have different battle mechanics, they're only slightly different but if you're used to the original and not the X it might take a while for you to figure out

I have a question about vpets. I saw on amazon that there's some products called "digivice" and a friend told me they are like mini rpgs where you only battle digimons, unlike the vpets that are like tamagotchis but with digimon. Is this true? What is the real difference? Are the digivice worth it? Because i saw they're at like 10 dollars

I still prefer the digimon 20th anniversary version. Reminds me more of my childhood. I had a V1, V2, pendulum v5 and a digivice d3 V1. Good times. I had a metal walker vpet too. Shame that I only have the pendulum v5 and digivice now. Maybe I should try getting hold of the ones I'm missing

Seems there's 2 save slots on the digimon x so it seems you can possibly have 3 digimon (1 active 2 saves)

Is there an end, like my Digimon have the highest evolution and I have completed all the quest? (Very noob question as I'm new to Digimon world!)

I want to grab a pair with the gf. She’d probably like the bigger roster of the 20th and that we can end up with different monsters vs the x in which we’d always have different (getting xa and xb) and also being able to tag battle but I like the quests and dice feature of the x. Thoughts please!
