Yes, you are right. If your device is shared or stolen, then that’s a risk. When you are looking to buy certain things also it stops you being inundated with targeted advertisements. Where you are located is not the issue here.

Also what she says about security there is also incorrect. The incognito window doesn't stop your DNS and web traffic header (TLS SNI) being exported to the ISP. ISPs or Google/Amazon (if you use their DNS) can still know which sites you browsed. Her technical knowledge is quite poor TBH

What is an App? Maybe that should be the starting point to understand the context of this conversation.

Their defence was that the monk who gave the interview is an "expert in his field", and "they were just reporting it". And you guys mock Dilith almost every day for taking no responsibility for that.
