I have always been a straight A student... Our grading system in my country is at 10 ... I always got between 9.9-9. I work now at corporate finance and have done amazing internships in my college life. I am not trying to boast here but It's just wrong that people think if you gotta have education that's the only thing you need to focus on. I dated people, had friends, had fun, hosted events, missed out nothing... Most of my fellow mates who were amazing at studies and got good grades were actually all rounders and now have amazing life... Those peers who only focused on grades and ignored everyone and everything else are unhappy in life now...

I can see why you'd think that, but I'm in the same boat as that woman. I never saw "dating casually" as a normality. At least not for me. Over the years I've learned from others mistakes. I will make my own mistakes, for sure, but when I decide on something (or someone), I put my whole self out there.
