SGB pe lock-in period jayda hai , Only at particular time you can redeem. There is a tax after certain profit.

Gold price currently is more than 5100/gm, lot of SGB on secondary markets are below 4900/gm SGB price does not match gold price in short term if you want to buy SGB then should consider it on secondary market liquidity is quite low while selling It is ok to buy if you are buying with a plan of 5-8 years

Don't go for sgb . In future government change any bond . Then have to run here and there with bond paper. Physical is gold good . At least have gold with u. Physical gold is not only jewelry purpose . We can buy 24k gold as future investment . In future we can sell.

Bro INDMoney vale advertise kr rhe, Invest in us stocks for free free free, no transaction fee. But transferring funds to US account incurs minimal GST chargers While for withdrawal we need to pay 20$ broker chargers They do not mention anywhere withdrawal charges. Minimum Transaction is 5000 to fund US account, and to withdraw 5000 i need to pay 20$=1500 inr

20$ is exempted abobe 2000$ withdrawal transactions. Most of the new users will not invest 1.5L.

Bhai baat to sahi hai, but abhi aapko US stocks me invest nahi karna chahiye. Maine video bana ke samjhaya tha ki itne chote amount se invest mat karo, india me bhi khoob opportunities hai Moreover, jo GST hai wo currency conversion charge pe lagega, and ye likha h indmoney walo ne. But dono cheez mila ke bhi bahut kam charge hai. Withdrawal ka $20 tab lagega jab $2000 se kam amount US to India transfer karoge. Agar long term ke liye kar rahe ho to ye problem aapko aegi hi nahi. Jaldi withdraw mat karo, and baad me ek saath $2000 se zyada karoge to charge nahi dena padega

SGBs will most likely be discontinued by RBI from 2024. The last slot was out in February 2024 and ever since there has been no announcements for next slots. 😢

@@PentangleYT Use gold coin, people conisder selling jewelly as unauspicious as they have emotions. Gold was the coin of India till Mughal Period. We don't need to sell gold coin. gold/silver coins are actual currency, just exchange for inr OR whatever currency you want, and fulfll your rquirement. The real economic freedom comes when wealth is at your hand, whose value is independent from any govt power

If you're investing normally then your sgst and cgst will cover up your returns. As i invested around 250 rupees a month ago in gold and the return was around 10 rupees but actually i was getting the same amount that's 250 and even less because of sell price was less the buy price

Some other facts about SGBs: -Lock-in period minimum 5yrs, max 8yrs,, BUT u only get tax benefit after 8 yrs.. - the 2.5% interest is quarterly deposited in your saving account and is taxable as per slab rates.. -ETFs have no lock-in but the profit is taxable..

SGB me 8 sal ka login sahi nhi hai as per time value of money. Mera 2 sal se paisa fasa hua hai. I wish I could have invested that in SIP. 2 sal se gold ke rate bhi ghate hi hai. Is that overall loss me chal rha hu abhi tak. 8 sal bad bhi kya ghanta milne wala hai gold ke appreciation se. Better hai jisme lokin period km ho usme invest kro.

You need to learn more, buddy SGB is the best way to invest gold but you also have to study the best time to invest in gold. As a silver lining, even if your money doesn't appreciate after the lock in, it's not going to be taxed, you can simply put it in another SGB. That will increase your chances of getting around 10% return over 16 years of time. But of of course, more lock in period is there. Alternatively, you can put that money in any other instrument after 8 years. Gold is used to hedge against your equity investment, and should be around 5-10% of your portfolio. Most importantly, patience is the key

@@LabourLawAdvisor but 8 sal ka lokin is not good as per time value of money. Jitna gold 8 sal me return dega usse jyada return options me trade krke 6 month me ban jaega Sirf nifty 50 ke 1 lot se. Hedging ke nam pr 8 sal ka lokin sucks bro. You are investing lacs of money which you are not going to get when you need. SGB me thoda bohot investment sahi hai for sake of trying something new. 8 sal ka lokin spoils this scheme. At max 3 sal ka lokin kafi rehta is scheme ke liye. Rahi bat returns ki pichle 2 sal me to SGB ke returns negative hi hai. 5.2k se aaj 4.7k pr atka hai. Aur agle 6 sal me bhi 10 times nhi hone wala. In short: Ideal pade money ko invest kr sakte is scheme me. Return kmane ke liye sahi nhi hai ye scheme.

If you want to sell in open market but after 8 years it is automatically been redeemed by RBI. So it has very low liquidity it you want to sell in open market but if you buy it for interest and no tax then there is no liquidity risk

Sir, Maine 24 July 2022 ko digital gold se certain gram gold buy Kiya tha aur 27 July 2022 ko digital gold se sara gold sell kar diya.par wo Paisa mujhe us samay Mila nhi. aur Aaj 4 October 2022 (after 70 days) baad mujhe utana hi paise mile jitna sell Kiya tha. Maine 70 days Tak Kai baar digital gold authority ko call or mail Kiya tha. Kya sir wakai main mujhe utna hi Paisa mujhe milna chahiya ya usse jyada.
