I make travel journals too and really enjoy writing down my feelings & thoughts about the trip as well as sticking the ticket stubs and other keepsakes in my paper journal. However I’m considering trying out digital journaling as it’s getting more difficult to keep the growing number of journal books without making a huge mess! Thank you for making this video, by watching how you create all sorts of decorations and backgrounds looks so interesting! Your video is not boring at all, and I’d love to see the rest of your travel journal making in another video too!

Just started camping (erm, GLamping) again, and a friend suggested I keep a journal of each trip. But I've never been a scrapbook kind of gal, and my first digital journal entry is looking rather... boring. LOL So this was VERY timely, I have lots of good ideas now! I loved hearing your thought process as well, and the pencil came through just fine. I, too, am a Paperlike user - love it! Anyway, I have three more camping trips this summer, and I'm really excited about setting up my journal pages now! Thanks so much for sharing this!

I watch your digital planning videos over and over. Especially when I need inspiration on how to get to it. Creative ideas and sometimes search your videos to see how you did something. One of your videos helped me learn how to utilize Goodnotes for digital planning. There is a lot I don’t know and hope one day you do more lessons like that. I was also watching your video where you and Dan go on vacation and you asked if it’s better if you keep your voiceover or just do without it and have it ASMR style. I think what you currently do is great. It’s a mix of it and I appreciate it because it makes me understand what’s going on in your mind as you digital plan which is something I knew at. You and another RU-vidr for me to take the plunge on a separate iPad Air for digital planning and the more I see your videos the more I now want the iPad Pro lol again I’m considering getting it. Your videos are so fantastic and I can’t find anything else like it anywhere. Only say that because I run out of content form you to watch lol you really teach well on this subject. I just wish I knew more. There’s lots of fancy stuff you do on GOODNOTES and which I could learn how to do some of those features. Love your videos!!

I watch Natalie Mugridge on here for nail tutorials and it’s so pleasant listening to someone with an accent such as yours and hers. But I get what you mean. I absolutely do not like my voice lol I am here for whatever videos you put out and what’s comfortable for you to do and what works for you! I was so happy to see your newest video today! This was really helpful and really inspired me to get an ipad. I love how you can digital diary things. Question: I am curious to know if your handwriting is recognizable without it converting to text (Trying to understand this as I've tried google searching and reddit didn't help) - Example searching particular words on Good Notes? This is so cute and inspiring! How do you get the tabs at the top? Mine won't let me see more than one page view at a time and I see you have vintage stickers and other tabs open... Am I just a grandma? 🙈

Glad you liked the video! I'm using my digital planner (link in description) and my landscape planners have two pages at a time and my portrait planners have one page. If you're using GoodNotes 5 you should be able to open multiple documents and have separate tabs. If it doesn't help, send me an email to contactus@happydownloads.net and I'll be happy to help.

Yes there's an image crop tool, but only rectangle crop at the moment

I believe you can use a different stylus or just your finger but I've personally only used it with an Apple Pencil.
