The Festival of Lights is a traditional Thai tradition where lanterns and a floating decorative piece typically made with a banana tree base, covered in banana leaf, and decorated with flowers, incense and a candle are put into the river and you can watch your display sail away into the night. During the festivals the night skies come alive with light, streets and homes are a glow in candlelight, and the river is filled with beauty and good-wishes.
The digital light display took place at Wat Chedi Luang.
