I use this machine every day. I have found measuring almost anything Vertical does not match the physical dimensions of my tape measure. It is great for a horizontal surface. But I have found it to be less than satisfactory vertically.
Oh mate tell me about it. I have been using proliner for 7 years now and own two machines . I agree 100% with you that it is pretty useless when it comes to wall panels or any vertical surface. I always have to run line lasers and tweak the proliner measurements to my tape measure measurements. I have brought this up with prodim number of times and they tell me they have calibrated and tested it before sending it back to me but it never works for me on walls properly
@@garrysidhu2890 Very interesting, im looking into these currently and wasnt expecting that at all. Any idea as to why this might be happening ? Was thinking lineslacking but that should be the same for any place i guess. Does the error seem to scale with the distance/amount of wire ?
@randomrouting i have no idea why this happens. Prodim always tell me its 100% on their calibration test. I always get them calibrated each year. For bechtops and flat surfaces it works like magic but as soon i comes to walls i have to spend so much time double checking with running line lasers and always have to adjust the measurements.
