when ur looking at ur 90 plus rated team on ultimate team with this song in the background makes want to cry. Honestly brings back some painful memories of sprint races on Need For Speed Pro Street😭
Ah, back to summer 2008, i finished the middle school national exam, last summer before highschool. Spent the whole summer playing it. What a nostalgia 🥰
first heard it when i was 8 going to elementary and playing prostreet, 23 now finishing my masters. my tastes and lifestyle done changed so many times but after all these years i geniunely think this is the best song i've ever heard.
I still got a important E-Mail Account with the word „prostreet“ in it, cause of the game i played 16 years ago. To the song: Its a very good composed song, it was years ahead of its time. Its worth to download the entire Original Soundtrack of Prostreet, Most Wanted, Underground and NFS III Hot Pursuit cause the EA Team mixed em up perfectly. Thanks.
This song is too powerful. It just pulls me back to the golden times when things felt like they had so much energy. That vivid, indie/electronic scene of our younger, simpler days. A perfectly pungent hit of nostalgia through its melancholic tune. Such a bittersweet pain to listen to.
I have no nostalgia fir this song at all but this song still manages to make me want to go and lie on a empty grass field on a sunny day and just reflect on life you know?
Exactly how I feel about it too, despite not having memories to this song since I've only discovered it last year. But it sounds so familiar and brings me back to life around 2010 when my sister and I were close and life was good 😭
Essa música é pura nostalgia eu joguei em 2008 2009 ma época o FIFA 08 tinha essa MSC hj em dia ja joguei o pro. Street E um jogo MT foda essa música é pura nostalgia
Oh man nothing hurts more than Nostalgia for the days of innocence and infinite wonder and joy for life, living in the moment, truly was heaven. Sad to feel the magic of life fade slowly with age and inertia. Would do anything to relive my childhood even for just one day
@@royalpalm1542yea it was in FIFA 23 WC Mode but was also in FIFA 08. But still it should have so much more views. There’s something amazing about it! Edit: Meant to be FIFA 08, not 09.
I’m still pretty young. To put into perspective of how old I am at the moment, I have only had my first car for about a year (it’s a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Spyder for those who might be wondering). Being completely honest, I am scared of growing older, but this song. This song makes me want to make memories with my friends while I still can. Then one day, I’ll think about this song again, come back to it, and be taken back to the better days. Wish me luck in my goal to make memories of my young life!
Don't be scared of getting older. Pay attention, soak in everything you can, be in the moment as it comes, don't be worried about looking to the past or the future. You can't do anything about those, but the one thing you can influence is now. I wish you the best of luck in doing all you want to do, remember those who you've met for just a short while, hold close to those you have around you still, and be here now. I wish you luck and love, TF. Peace be with you, friend.
@@Fooshj well, let's not stop the trend of responding 4 years late.... it's really a classic, regardless of when and how you heard it.... I listen to it when I fly
Ok I know this is a way over the top comment for RU-vid but here goes: I'm just coming out of a really tough 3.5 month period of having to come back home after the best six months of my life to unemployment, being completely skint and having almost no good friends. And just as my life is really, properly getting back on track I heard this song for the first time a couple of days ago. Haven't been able to stop listening to it since. Music is one of the big loves of my life but it's been years since a song has really grabbed me like this. Its pure optimism ("there's something in the air") and energy couldn't come at a better time. To everyone in the comments crying about the nostalgia this song gives them don't be sad, life is beautiful (if sometimes rough) and there are so many exciting times that are ahead of you! Treat every day as if it's your last! Peace and love
stay motivated! that's the most important thing. if you're motivated, you can do anything! don't let anybody tell you anything different, including yourself. keep being awesome, because you're awesome already! (c)
It makes me sad to know that there was a song like this out there, completely unknown to me for all these years, that perfectly encapsulated the vibes of how I grew up. I'm fresh to this song but it's so nostalgic to the point that it feels like I've known this forever. So glad I got here
As a kid playing this game I dreamed of having a fun car to drive and listen to this song. Years later God blessed me to have my dream fulfilled. This game was based out of Hawaii and not only did I have a fun & fast car to drive but I also was and still am here in Hawaii. Listened to this as I drove through kalanianaole highway on Oahu Island. I teared up and was so happy, it felt so surreal 🥹. Thank you God for your goodness! please bless others to live out their dreams 🙏🏽 ❤
This song gives me distinct memories of an English project that I had to do in my senior year. A friend of mine chose this song as the background noise for his video and, even though I don't remember what he did his project on, I still remember seeing the video. The 11 year anniversary of that project's deadline passed a few days ago, and man, it still feels like yesterday. I sadly haven't spoken to him since the day we graduated, and the same goes for a lot of the people I considered "friends" in that time. I fell into some really tough stuff in the decade since, but I found my sobriety and it's nearly two years on. My friends (and, yes, anyone who reads this comment, I will consider you a friend), we have a distinct duty, not only to keep music like this alive, but to make friends with everyone we can manage to. The world is a big place but it's also curiously small. We may be so different, but in key experiences, we have a shared understanding. To everyone who reads this comment, keep pushing on and follow your dreams. To say that we tried and failed is better than to say we didn't even try at all. I wish you all the best of luck.
Haunting. Their is definitely something in the air with this song. I just heard it but I’m 24 and the whole sound transports back to hs. Something so fun about this beat but also sad now looking back. Cheers my friend
Pogo Lyrics [Chorus] Yeah, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, oh There's somethin' in the air There's somethin' in the air [Verse 1] Now where has it been? I mean the good old wild days Became a bit too lame Just take a look at my place It's such a mess But I'll be out of this space As soon as you tell me where the night is [Pre-Chorus] You have to set up Bring it on Forward [Chorus] Yeah, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air [Verse 2] It's been quite of a while Since I could experience your brightness Now you've got a brighter smile And I think I'm going to like it Talkin' 'bout the better things, you know how to maximize Everything around you will become super-sized [Pre-Chorus] You have to set up Away from What matters And get it prepared Forward [Chorus] Yeah, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air Yeah, woah-oh There's somethin' in the air, woah-oh [Bridge] 'Cause I've been dreamin' We could be the fire for this night Can't stop [Outro] You have to set up We could get so wasted if you would have come (Bring it on) We could get so wasted if you would have come (Forward) We could get so wasted if you would have come (Can't stop) We could get so wasted if you would have come (You have to set up) We could get so wasted if you would have come (Bring it on) We could get so wasted if you would have come (Forward) We could get so wasted if you would have come (Can't stop) We could get so wasted if you would have come (You have to set up)
this is such a 2007-2009 chord progression! no lie. Yeah Yeah Yeahs! M83 back in days, Broken Social Scene, Tegan and Sara, Arcade Fire, MGMT (before they were cool of course) and all other indie rock/pop groups
mw was varied, it had rock, nu metal and dnb as main music, carbon used it's ost a lot more than the licensed music that it came with, it's a lot more orchestal rather than pop.
@@chevycoupev1052 Yeah, it's more like: Nfs Underground: Pretty good rap/rock/electronica Nfs Underground 2: RIDERS ON THE STORM (I know there are more songs in that game, but they pale in comparison to this one) Nfs Most Wanted: Nu Metal/Rap/Electronica Greatest Hits Nfs Carbon: SMOOTH Hip Hop and EPIC Instrumentals Nfs Prostreet: GODTIER Punk Metal and Indie music
The best 😎 so criminally underrated NFSMW is for boys, NFSPS is for real MEN 😎👊🏻 you actually have to drive well to win and if you make a mistake: TOTALED! 😂 👌 (specially true for speed challenge lol)
It's ten now.. I just played through it yesterday. This song still feels so fresh! *@Self Hypnosis Subliminals GET INSTANT RESULTS NOW!* ProStreet is really good if you get some performance mods as well as a camera mod and handling mod. You are right though, Underground 1 to Carbon is my childhood, but ProStreet has a special place for me, too. I began to like it more and more the older I got, and it's a darn fantastic game. The scenery and so on is just very pleasant and uncommonly done. Overall just well done.
Getting quiet the goosebumps while listening to this! Brings back good memories of playing NFS Prostreet aka the best streetracing game (besides NFS Underground and Most Wanted 2005) i have ever played!
I was one of few people in my area that listened to electronic music besides dubstep growing up. Digitalism led me to all of the music I still listen to. This song in general may be my favorite song of all time

This feels like the national anthem of the 2010s decade.. Maybe it should've been the anthem. Think about it, the way it sounds feels so nostalgic, and that's why I love this song so much!
Ahhhh such good times !!!! There was this club in TJ that played this one weekend, with a bunch of my friends just in the middle dancing with our drinks! Laughing, having a great time. Nostalgia for sure on this classic! Cheers y’all!
I've never heard this song before today, but it gives me hardcore nostalgia of being a teen, playing video games at home in summer, and being young with not a care in the world
A close friend of mine from high-school that stopped talking to me showed me this song when I first started smoking🍃🍃and I can't finish listening to it bc I miss those times with my homie and I wish I could go back
Gotta say coming back to this definitely doesn't disappoint, and it definitely has to do something with this being one of my favorite tracks from NFS: ProStreet.
NFS Pro Street on PSP late at night in a car ride back from somewhere. It was always fun listening to these soundtracks late at night to wrap up the day. I remember sometimes I'd just put the PSP against my ear and listen to the songs. Man I wish I could be 7 or 8 years old again...
