I was told by one big man for DVLA that if the deadline pass and you still don’t pay they’ll take your details to dvla and if you go there to renew your roadworthy it wouldn’t come unless you pay your dept with interest before you could renew and if you don’t renew too they’ll send your details to the Mttd and the police officers at the traffic light point and they’ll arrest you for driving with an expired roadworthy and other offenses. But I just hope and pray that this comes and stay, and wouldn’t be just a one day show ooo. Also the money being generated wouldn’t go into someone’s pockets ooo

When this system was installed in Cote D'Ivoire the first year they made a huge sum of money for the country. Now the issue is accountability when it comes to money collection in Ghana. At the end of the day we should be able to account for all money's collected. Also there should be enough road signs for drivers so they stick to road road limits speed.
In UK they will tell you the penalty is especially parking is 100 pounds but if you pay in the first 14days it is 40 pounds, if it delays it keeps building up and they will get a debt collector to track you and law will come in if all means fail.
Here in Ghana a lot of road signs are covered with billboards some are broken some don't even have signs, just yesterday at tudu we nearly took a one way without knowing it's someone who told us to return so I'm imagining a foreigner driving on the streets of Accra... this is a good step... with the revenue of this initiative be use for the development of the country? time will tell.

I went to EPA for my permit,on a project for my client,the payment system introduced there was perfect,you type the document name,then they send u a code for payment.under 4 minutes i was done and a receipt was printed.the money went straight to the bank.formerly gorro boys will delay and chop my money for fake receipts. Its wonderful digitalization will reduce corruption and raise government revenues.
