Hi, I can’t find the answers I’m looking for anywhere online, so hope it’s okay to ask here! I want to play live guitar to accompaniment of drums going through a drum amp and looped bass going through a bass amp, with option to switch both bass and drum parts during the song. Crazy how hard it is to figure something out to make it work 😂 Will the SDRUM and JamMan combo allow for this? Also, can anyone comment on how the kits sound for heavy rock or doom along the lines of Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, or Sleep / Electric Wizard? Thanks!
You can plug the Sdrum into a direct box or directly into your mixer and have it go through the Pa. You should be able to sync bass with it through a bass amp or PA as long as you use an 1/8 inch cord to connect the Sdrum and JamMan Looper. Still trying to understand… I guess a more direct question is, can I use the mixer out on the Sdrum to send the drum part straight into my drum amp, or is it the wrong type of connection (balanced / unbalanced)? This is for live performance mostly at home - I don’t have a mixer. Alternately, is it possible to link with the JamMan for the purpose of syncing the timing, but send the JamMan loop (bass part) directly into a bass amp, without going through the Sdrum? That way I could use the instrument out on the Sdrum to send the drums to my drum amp, without the bass part having to go to the drum amp too.
@@OneRayMusic I’m not sure what the purpose of a direct box is - would that allow an unbalanced connection to be compatible with a balanced one, or vice versa?

Yes, you should be able to go from the Sdrum’s mixer out into a drum amp. I always put the Sdrum first in my pedal chain and the Looper at the end. Yes, you can go from the Looper into your bass amp. And yes, a direct box converts a 1/4 inch into an XLR to go to a snake and then to a mixer. I hope that helps! Keep jamming! 🍻
