I had forgotten about the free hand under sew over the middle seam. Great tip. I learn or remember something new in every video. Thanks again.

I love that you take the time to breakdown a design and show just how it should be digitized using the built-in tools. I have been having issues with my caps and since I searched for and watched your video on how to create designs specifically for hats, I have been looking for more info on the "bottom-up center-out" process from start to finish when creating a design from scratch. In this video, not every part moved from bottom up and center out or even in a clockwise direction. What most confuses me is how can I design a cap and have every part of the design follow the "buco" process? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO DESIGNING A EMBROIDERY FILE WITH A SHAPE AND WORDS SPECIFICALLY FOR A CAP/HAT!! Wish HATCH had a tool that would do this for shapes as it does for lettering... HELP, I don't have a FB account but I have subscribed and purchased your digitizing lessons (all 3).

Interesting. I enjoy learning the theory even though I don't have a multi needle machine so will never be doing caps. I found the first centre stitch new information for me and at the end I wanted to see how John would have digitised the design from scratch as a comparison.

Great video! Can you tell me about the length of your running stitches?

Awesome video! Would it have worked to take the 4 pieces of yellow around the edge and chosen to weld instead of branch? My instant thought was to weld them but wondering if that would've messed up the stitching and angles maybe. Your lessons are amazing.

Same here. I had exactly the same thought and question. It would be great if you could answer this, John. Thank you so much for your great videos. Newbe here but learning so much here. 🙏🏼

What is the sewing frame for hats and sewing field for Redline hats? The program that I am using is Wilcome Hatch2. The Machine tells me the sewing frame sizes for all the standard hoops that come with the Redline machine. Wilcom Hatch2 program requires custom hoop profile for doing hats.

What is the purpose of doing the center runs on the seam of the hat?
@PsychoDismay
@PsychoDismay 4 года назад
This helps the stabilizer to catch on to the product as well as flattening down the center seam/area of the hat.

Don't you think there is too much of overlap for brown and blue... It should be reduced to have less stitch count..
