There's a red button at the back, take a pin or a led pencil to it and it will reset, or take out the batteries

@lokoXmage if memory serves if you go to camp and shake for a while you can get spirit back, if not you can chance it by using the scanner

@Immanuel Haripin in Canada that detector was version 2, version one had the solid colours of the digi destined and v2 had metallic red and metallic blue with a slightly altered map and the ability to get the dark spirit
