⚠️ RFID supported tags: For the sensors with 433 MHz, 1527 chip, 330k resistor ℹ️ Update: So far it seems to work almost perfectly, no false alarms whatsoever. Things that don't work so well: - If there's no mobile network, the SMS is not delayed, it's simply not sent. - If the speaker is playing sound you can't press the buttons on the panel, for example you have to wait for the "Please input password" to finish. - If the alarm was triggered and you have no external siren every-time you press a button the alarm sound is interrupted (it continues but makes the beep from pressing a button).
BeiLLiac4 if you buy from somewhere else than Banggood you will be basically buying from a reseller so it's going to be more expensive, you can order from them as they provide a reliable service and good customer support!
TNX for info. Looking ito tke communication stuff i think Kerui G19 will be better choice. Those sensors for example D026 reports three statuses (open, close, panic). I do not know for other since those things al hit or miss with Domoticz.
Very good review. Thank you. I'm very interested in Digoo DG-HOSA. From which you have used it for more than 1 year I have questions as follows. 1. How often is it that the notification is incorrect? 2. On average How long will you change the Windows Sensor battery? Thank you very much for your answer.
It was a nice video but I wish there’s no background music. It is kinda irritating to understand the details that you are imparting while your music is distracting in the background.
TechCoders, does it support 3rd party door sensors, for example D026 are apparently good to use with Home-assistant software, so could I use them with this also, and Kerui PIR sensors for example? Or do I need to buy just Digoo parts...
I didn't try pairing it with anything non-Digoo yet, wanted to interface it with my IOT web platform since I no longer use a sim card for it will let you know if I find a way.
John Doe Hey! Thanks! The range seems really good, my place has massive walls, 20cm of depth in concrete and I can place the sensors about 40meters between walls, not even my wifi can penetrante to the kitchen and the window sensor can, only problem I had with the accessories is that the door bell requires you to press a bit longer than a normal person would for it to trigger the bell!
Yes there's a User and Admin passcode (both are pretty much the same to be honest), as long as you turn it on you need to put the pin to be able to use the touch pad.
The cellphone functionality works really well, both calling and sending/receiving SMS. You even get an SMS if the power goes down/back up, battery low.. The GSM functionality seems to work perfectly.
Hi, you mentioned this is using an old GSM network. There seem to be conflicting reports if this is 2G or 3G and it would be good to know which frequency. Any news on this would be appreciated.
It is fairly relevant here in Australia as 2G is being phased out by September 2017, next month. So if this alarm only supports 2G (as my old alarm does) it is 100% relevant as it won't send any SMS or make calls.
3G support is important because some operators have only 3G support. And the DG-HOSA does NOT support 3G. I purchased the alarm because they advertised 3G support and my operator has only 3G (WCDMA), not 2G. It didn't work and I emailed Digoo; their answer was "Please make sure that the 3G SIM card you used is support GSM. Almost all of the 3G SIM cards in the world support GSM either.". So the 3G support is a lie, be warned!
Hi. Can you check if it is 433 based on PT2262 chip? ISomeone knows maybe if it can be detected by Domoticz and RFXtrx433E and if yes can also sensors be detected by Domoticz? TNX
When I try to use the app it says get verification code by mobile so I enter my cell number then it does a countdown but I never receive code. Also when I enter doorbell mode and click the door bell nothing will happen.
bigrimyukon The app is a mess to setup, still had no time to try to set it up again but I honestly don't think it's necessary to have. Regarding the door bell try pressing it for more than 3 seconds to see if it works
Yes I tried over and over repeatedly. Pressing for a long time different intervals. I need the app to get notifications text from the wifi though. I don't want to use a SIM card. Also the remote sirens won't connect. I have tried multiple ways to do it and no matter what when the alarm goes off they won't go off. I have another brand similar to this alarm and never had problems like this.
The door chime is a button, you can however configure one of the magnetic sensors as a door chime, making the door chime sound every time the door is opened!
TechCoders is it able to chime when a customer walks in my shop, as my shop door is always open but want this as my alarm system and door chime when someone walks in. Thank you.
Dont like systems that have a keyboard that is the actual siren. Placing it in a comvenient location means a thief can easoly find it and disable it ny simply covering with cushion to silence, or just smashing the unit.
That is correct, the only solution for this would be opening a hole in the wall to fit the system inside the wall or placing the system inside a box that requires an extra key or something alike.
@@redbul1065 Still using it daily, re-installed it in my new apartment about one year ago and added a smoke detector sensor to it. Still can't connect it decently to the Wifi so I'm limited to using a simcard, besides that everything is working as it should!
Yes and no, if you have a SIM card, as soon as the alarm triggers the SMS gets sent so unless the person is using a jammer at least the SMS gets sent. This is not the kind of device that you should leave in a visible place where anyone who gets in your house/apartment immediately sees it. Regardless, for the price there's nothing much better!
Exactly! This is not a device you should leave near the entrance door like you usually do with normal alarm systems. You actually need to hide it somewhere. I find that to be dubious.
And what you said here: "If there's no mobile network, the SMS is not delayed, it's simply not sent." IMHO These 2 reasons are good enough for me not to recommend this device.
Why do you need to wait the intruder to penetrate your house, you can buy additional PIR's and put it outside your house (or yard). so you dont have to worry about smashing or disconnecting the system anymore. :)
