I play a PRS Starla SE that is recorded directly into Studio One for processing/effects. I tab things with Guitar Pro. Record the video on my Iphone.

@11bangbang402 hey there! I’m never opposed to requests, but just curious- it looks like it’s been covered a lot of times! Is there anything specific you are struggling to learn that you think the other covers aren’t doing well?

@@Trads_TabsTo make a long story short I picked guitar back up in 2020 after a 15 year break. When I was younger and played I never took the time to actually learn the guitar too to bottom. I just cranked the distortion and played power chords. Now I find I learn better when I can see the fret hand clearly (which you do) but it also helps when the instructor sort of talks about the shape/best ways to do it. For the song I requested, no one does that which is totally fine and their videos are still great, I just personally struggle with hitting pause, watching the shape and then hitting unpause over and over. I hope this long winded explanation made sense haha. Thanks for the responses and again, great video!

@11bangbang402 haha no worries about being long winded!! I appreciate the background. To be completely honest, I am SO self conscious on videos where I speak. To get one recorded line, it will take me five tries. I don’t know what it is, I just freeze up. That’s why I always stick with just playing. I know I need to practice, and I know people do benefit from talking through though. You’ve given me an idea for future videos that I will consider doing on the back half. Thank you!!

Thank you man! I have a PRS Starla SE guitar plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. From there I’m routed into Studio One where I use will Putneys STL tonality virtual amp suite. Hope that helps, let me know if I can give any more info!

2:13 i love how made your own flair along with octaves in the backgrounds. The Delay effect makes it so delightful though. Nice job!

@@Trads_Tabs yeah. but I wonder if the delay pedal features where you could tweak the metronome repeats. though.

@@Trads_Tabs about at the end of the solo, there was this delay at the end match with the tempo. I wonder how you tweak that.

@@Rusli1659LPSoldier ohhh yeah I would just need to match the frequency to be at an eighth note, quarter note, etc. frequency to be more pleasing to the ear. I’m not sure where the delay was set here. Nice call out though, I’ll think about that as I’m doing more covers.
