Dillinja & Mystery - Deep Love Sublime 1994 Jungle track from Dillinja & Mystery and a big track played often on the London Pirates back in the day (Kool Fm etc).
A beautiful, sublime piece of old skool mellow dnb. 47 years young and I still listen and play this music everyday. Peace and love to all my original jungle lovers.
@@Youu60 brilliantly put sir!💯 What a time to be alive and alive to it, we left school summer 87 and by 89 were knee deep in raving, was a good underground scene in Belfast from late 80s despite the troubles lark, 89 to 94 was lethal 👌💯
No, it's how some of these tunes were pressed back then. Depended on the machine and plates being used, sadly a lot of European presses were thinner and at 45. This one's a 45, check for yourself on discogs. That influences the sound. They were also engineered to be played on 5k rigs, your pc is not a 5k rig. If it was really like that there'd be crackle, wear some records out yourself and find out.
new (teenager who found the genre by chance, been listening for a year or two now) to liquid/jungle but yeah WOW the new stuff just doesn't have that JUICY sub bass. and that dry, dark, delicious beat
@@nickfisher8028 Love those guys. Ash Attack, Profile, Ray Keith and Nicky Blckmrkt!! It was the best record shop in London!! Miss that place!!! It's not the same anymore. Record shops and pirate radio were a big part of Jungle rave culture.
i remember hearing this track in underground house parties....then came Renegade Hardware and MetalHeadsz for me and cant forget Hive's influence...i also remember the Old Drum and Bass Arena that has all the sets from Black Sun Empire and all the greats..free to listen to whenever...and Winamp drum and bass radio stations in the 90's were awe inspiring....the good old days
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio Clearly I got them mixed up! They are not too far from one another.. I do remember Thunder and Joy up Holloway, Roller Express up Lee Valley, Island down Illford, Club UN up Tottenham, Hippodrome in Leicester Square, Ministry of Sound down Elephant and Castle, Sanctuary up Milton Keynes and so forth.. Last club I went to was Fire down Vauxhall for a Jungle Fever a decade ago - I'm an everyday Jungalist..
Omg what a fucking tune...Those who know fucking know. So glad I was around back in the day to experience these tunes. And still today thank God for uploaders like this that rekindle those old skool feelings.
is it werid to describe this tune as 'poignant'? The synth pads are phenomenal. The breaks are subtle and well executed. Not heard this track before bur already I need it!
I met this chap and what a truly nice man inside and out a few others on the scene who are his contemporaries could learn a thing or two about basic decorum when interacting with their money spending base🕵🏾♀️ Beautifully atmospheric vibes .....✔️
On a decent, well tuned system, I've been at nights when that bass feels like it's massaging your intestines. I don't believe in the 'brown note' these days but back then tunes like this used to make me wonder if it was possible. When people who developed and built systems were pretty much wizards who guarded what they'd learned very carefully. Long before the www when knowledge wasn't as easily accessible.
