Dillon 450 / 550 Lee Bullet Feeder adapter bracket installation and guide
What’s needed, dissemble, reassemble, tips, what to do and not to do, running the press and giving thanks
Brackets available on select Facebook groups and eBay - search: Dillon 550 Lee bullet bracket (eBay user name: block_rocker)
You’ll need a Lee bullet seating die and one of their caliber and bullet height specific kits
This is mainly for handgun cartridges from .32-.45 caliber with max bullet hight of .75 in most kits - Lee can in most case make you a customer bullet feed die

you can get the alignment tool from Dillon to make sure you align the plate correctly.

Larry Fulton yes very much so, plus a reduced power detent ball spring, and the primer bearing kit, ufo led lighting

I havent loaded in 40 years but back into it again. Will this work with 45acp on a dillon 450 with manual powder feeder? Also cast bullets on my 450 are lubed with old school wax or whatever they used. Does that gum up the tubes so they wont feed? Always some on the sides and a tad on the base that is wiped off... Does the 45acp need to be screwed down 3 turns or not? Long wwinded uh? Thank you Brad

Looks cool, but it seems like it's actually slower to do this way, vs just picking them up by hand? Seems any time spent loading the bullet tube, could have been spent loading rounds.

Hi Brandon, Great video well explained and easy to follow. One quick question. do you resize the lead bullet before you use on the bullet feeder. I have a lyman bullet sizer and lub machine then I RELOAD on my dillon 550 would recon you have to size first ?? just checking. Cheers Bill Miller

Great video and I subbed to your channel and I will be putting an order in. May have some questions when I get rolling on it. One I have right now is will the needle bearing kit for the indexing plate work with your system or is it better to just keep the indexing ball and parts for the plate stock? I see you did have the bearing kit for your primer feed.

A key step in reinstalling the platform was missed. you need to realign the platform to the tool head via dillon alignment rod part number #13713.

I'm curious why I see some people not using Dillon Die sets? Im getting back into reloading I've had my machine (550) for over 20 years now and im noticing different dies and powder drops just curious as to why??

Larry Fulton the Lee die has the necessary taper for their bullet feeder to work Powder measure is just a matter of personal preference

Christian Sundberg I actually discuss that in the first several minutes in my shorter install video - you just bend out the longer arm slightly
