I think her ethnicity is uyghur but her nationality is Chinese bc she was born in xinjiang, China and that's where most uyghurs live. Like for me, my ethnicity is han Chinese but my nationality is American bc I was born in america. So if you say she is uyghur you're not wrong and if you say she is chinese, your not wrong either.
