My favorite thing about English Diluc is that he just sound sick of everyone and everything lmao he's perfect for the memes & when he starts roasting Kaeya and telling him to go away 😂😭
@@Noctsranun bruh I already know that before dude... All I said Zhongli English is Speedwagon... I repeat that... Even that guy said diluc was Mista English VA and Giorno Japan VA.... I have read already
I respect your opinion but, English Paimon is my favorite! English Paimon is sort of cute, very sassy, super expressive and, just annoying enough calling her 'emergency food' makes sense.
The korean voice for childe sounds too formal to me somehow T.T i like his "hey, girlie" and "ojou-chan" so much, not hearing those terms in his korean dub let me down
@@soraeverblue there isnt really a “hey girlie” or like a informal term to call someone in the korean language if i’m not mistaken, it’d be hard to word. (If there is i’m probably not aware of it) but thats probably why
They're all great when it comes to voice acting. But if we're talking about the closest one to the original personality, which is Mandarin. It would be: 1. English 2. Japanese 3. Korean My favorite would be English and Mandarin Edit: Changed my mind, English is at the BOTTOM of the list.
Корейская озвучка в целом не очень мне нравится, но конкретно Дилук лучше всего передаёт эмоции именно в корейской. В английской он взволнованный, нервный, в японской совершенно расслабленный, а в китайской словно уставший
I know that the EN va is a great actor, but he changes the character a bit too much for me. It's a great performance by itself, but it's not very Diluc in my opinion.
Klee: "He's one of the weird grown-ups. He's so grumpy all the time... Why does he never smile?" grumpy /ˈɡrʌmpi/ bad-tempered and irritable. Yeah EN kinda fits.
@@BB-sq3jr then again, you might have to consider that grumpy doesn't mean that he's angry all the time. His EN voice just makes it seems like he's always angry sooooo
@@BB-sq3jr not really. en diluc just sounds perpetually annoyed at everything. compare that to the other voiceovers. there's a scene in one of the golden archipelago quests where he gets corrected by klee to say mr dodoking's name right. in the other voiceovers, he plays along with klee, smiling a bit and he even chuckles in the chinese voice over. but in the en voiceover, he just sounds annoyed, which doesn't make sense because he's smiling a bit in that scene.
I... am probably alone in this, but the English version just doesn't do it for me. He sounds older than he actually is and snobbish/sassy, while his character isn't snobbish or sassy at all. A little arrogant, but not a snob, let alone sassy, and it's clear on the character's expression. The English just doesn't fit the expression imo; it sounds too fiery at times contrasting with his dead-panned face. He's more of a kuudere, and the Japanese one really showcases that.
And since the game is from Chinese, I'm going to assume the Chinese VA may have been a more accurate depiction (considering the end result is approved), and the Japanese does have similar vibe to the Chinese one. The Korean also sounds a bit snobbish but not too over-the-top. The JP and CN ones are the best for me.
@@aibhe same here i just cringe a bit to his en and kr(to me they sound NOTHING like his character and makes him sound like an old man), but his cn and especially his jp fits so well~
@@aibhe unpopular take but I sort of prefer en Diluc, even if it is a bit mischaracterised. I didn’t really get the snobbish vibe but I sort of like how he’s more expressive and fiery. imo there’s nothing wrong with the cool and collected type character but it sort of overlaps into other characters we see like Xiao and Zhongli so having him be more quippy makes him more likeable for me, I understand why that might not be the case for everyone though. Another reason could be that sarcasm is much more popular in western culture, which could be why they went with that take on Diluc
HELLO HELLO, anyone who also read this bl manhwa "legs that won't walk" ... is taesung's voice actor the same as diluc's?? because they kinda similiar but taesung is deeper... I can't read hangul so I don't know TTvTT
In this case for Diluc CN --> KR --> EN --> JPN I speak Chinese and English , learning Korean language (intensive) and a long time otaku. So I can pretty much feel it as I'm very familiar with all 4 languages.
