I'd love for other theorycrafters to comment, but there are people out there now who run Dehya, Furina, Mona, Bennett. the vids look awesome at least. two rotations and stuff dies
But sh really isn't a hypercarry. Diluc's kit, even his passives, are about dmg while the same can't be said for Dehya who has no dps passives in her kit.
I really, really appreciate the fact that you spend time going over weirder, non-optimal teams just because they feel good and do decent damage. That's how I play Abyss myself and it's refreshing to see this playstyle be acknowledged instead of the "why play (character you like) when you can just play (more meta/traditional character)" handwave that's all too common nowadays.
Since trying out your suggestions for Diluc teams with Furina, I absolutely LOVE it, I can't stop playing with Diluc, Furina, Bennet, and Kazuha. I'm curious about the team including Kaeya so that'll be next. He may not be everyone's favorite, but to me, Diluc''s the reason I play Genshin in the first place shortly after it's launch release. He was my first five star and I still main him to this day along with other fav Dps's. Now with Furina, it's become one of my top tier teams with Diluc. Thnks for giving Diluc the recognition he deserves in this guide.
I recomend also watching Caverman diluc videos, he is impressive with diluc, especially in melt and shows how a long time invested diluc can do, and is honestly impressive
Second the recommendation for Cavernman for anyone interest in maining Diluc as a proper endgame unit. They have very clear and fair comparisons of how Diluc's many teams work, which units work better here and there, and they never shy away from testing new things to see how Diluc performs with them as more characters, weapons and even whole reactions like burgeon come up over time. Always a good watch.

2:20 the part about Bennet burst being a pyro object is completely false. The reason why you always get a pyro infusion for Kazuha abilities is because of the fact that bennet burst applies pyro on your character and that's where infusion is coming from. This is easily proven by using bennet burst in the water which will make getting pyro infusion almost impossible. For this same reason sometimes you might not get pyro infusion on Kazuha E if you pressed it just as you swapped into Kazuha because Bennet burst at that moment might've not applied pyro on Kazuha yet
That is indeed right, I get confused with gouba being that since he is an object that applies pyro to himself during attacks. It changes little, but yeah as you said if your timing is off you might not absorb pyro
amazing video! I wish you have a video like this for every character for example: "1 mistake you are doing in your team" where you explain the mistake for different teams or "You building ... Wrong" can be helpful!

I actually really like Retro Burgeon: Diluc, BAIZHU, Furina and Yelan. It's like playing Quickbloom, but instead it's BurgeonVape. Anyway having C6 just makes him feel so much better to play (regardless of numbers)
This is exactly my favorite diluc team. It's very comfy and burgeon is always satisfying but also makes up for dilucs pretty bad aoe. I'm also one con away from c6 so here's hoping

I think Diluc works really well with the event EM claymore, especially if you have a couple of his constellations, to maximize both his EM and Atk requirements for reaction-based teams
A willd discovery I made with Diluc and Furina is that they do crazy burgeon/vape with Diona and Yaoyao. It's kinda nuts and I am so happy with it. What's great also is you can swap out of Diluc after his ult and do the necessary rituals with the other characters and when you swap back in it keeps going.
Apparently Furina's buff does not affect bloom, hyperbloom and burgeon at all. Prior to Furina I've played a shatter burgeon comp with Diluc, Rosaria, C2 Yelan and C1 Baizhu. The shatter on frozen enemies scale off on EM, its a fun comp, but I cannot claim high dps with it. Noelle, Thoma, C2 Yelan, Nahida has been my by far stronger burgeon team. You can exchange Noelle with any anemo, geo, cryo or electro character.
I just got Diluc after nearly 3 years of playing. The teams I’ve been trying have felt pretty bad aside from Furina/Yelan/healer teams, I’ll have to try some of these out

I would have liked to have seen calcs on the other teams as well. That is the part of teambuilding that is less accessible. Also would like to have seen what dragonstrike can do to the Diluc vaping variant, as well as full EM Diluc for burgeon with Nahida and Baizhu passives both buffing his on field burgeon dmg.
Idk much about mechanics for sure but rainslasher should be comparable to mailed flower right since most of the time in diluc vaping variant the enemies will be effected by hydro and that will trigger rainslasher passive even tho he does not vape the next hit but it still gives the buff to normal attacks. I think i tested this and it does give the buff.
I built Diluc with Dehya's weapon when I pulled it trying for Yelan's weapon cuz I didn't have anyone else to build at the time. No regrets! I don't play him a lot but he's enjoyable and strong. I haven't tried him with Furina yet --psyched to try out your suggestions!
Klee+Furina+Bennet+Kazuha seems to be the best for that atm, I saw that team actually appear in a chinese speed running competition where it did surprisingly decently.
I'm surprised you don't include an R5 Tidal Shadow in the weapon rankings. Get a heal and you have +90% atk, between its stat and the proc, which means that weapon provides a hell of a lot of attack. It is, hands down, the best crafted Claymore for an on-field, atk-scaling character, unless you rarely get healed.
I find the weapon comparison chart interesting. I've tested all the claymores in Genshin Optimizer for my account, and surprisingly, the Mailed FLower R5 still performs better than the Beacon so... I guess it depends on everybody's artifacts and investment level? (I have both Atk% and EM Sands).
Thanks man, I just got C3 for my level 1 Diluc today while trying to pull for Ayato. I'm out of pulls to try again for Ayato 😢 so I'm thinking of finally building Diluc in a team with Furina.
i have a perfeclty build diluc now just because of cloud retainer… i think mona with thrilling tales and her elemental will result in 4x 400k plunges if the timing works out

This is good news, i got into Diluc but his teams were not what i was hoping for abyss so I'll have to at least give this a shot for fun of it. This sounds kind of like the Pyro Hydro inverse of something like Childe-Xiangling vaporize, its rather interesting team i wouldn't have expected. Go Go Slow Hydro!
Without knowing those maths calc, i've being trying to build diluc with furina and sunfire, honestly this is so funny and good. He has all artifact at 0 , no 4 piece, talent at 7 and 8. He constantly does like 45k on a single hit ult. Considering his situation, i'd say that they looks like pretty good numbers. This video just confirms that i should build him
I don`t have Baizhu but how does Vape Burgeon compare, since DIluc can use EM for both Vape and Burgeon Team: Diluc, Baizhu, Furina, Xingqiu Or something similar to Zajef`s bain-marie team: Diluc, Kaeya, Baizhu, Furina Cryo will not only Melt but weaken the burning aura and allow Furina to generate blooms. Also Im not sure if Electro, Anemo, Geo actually weaken the burning aura, would it allow Albedo, Fischl or Kazuha
I still can't make my Diluc hit numbers like that even with C1 Furina, C5 Yelan, Jean, R2 Wolfs Gravestone and maurechasee set with high crit and EM sands 😭
I got diluc c1 in version 1.0 and was my main for a long time, i got dilucs c4 when i lost 50/50 in furinas banner, and i got wolfs gravestone last week, considering i used serpent spine b4 which the passive is useless with furina cus you can never build stacks, wolf gravestone was a massive upgrade, i already have him double crowned, and have not used him in the abyss for over a year now, i cleared 4.2 abyss with diluc and the team felt pretty good, i have been playing him alot lately, been using diluc, furina, yelan, jean and it feels pretty op
I still consider Diluc better than Dehya, he is better in both main carry and Burgeon and he work with Yelan and Xinqiu, making him so much more flexible than Dehya who is half ass support and only have few niche team and I would put Klee in same tier as him, Klee just more pain to use
All old standard characters should get some buff / fix like Diluc stupid passive for charge attacks . One update can brings a lot of old players back to game only when loosing 50/50 is not so painfull . Qiqi needs more energy generation etc.
