just saying...: Dimash can play piano, drums and sevral instruments with strings. He swims daily, has a belt in Taekwondo, played soccer and is studying for his doctorate/PhD in music, etc....so he is very well educated. he also can speak 3 languages fluent and sings in 12 languages...and he is still learning and getting better in many ways :)))
Our Dimash can play pano, drums and anything with strings. He swims on a regular basis. He has a belt in Taekwondo, played soccer and is studying for his doctorate/PhD in music, ver well educated. Speaks 3 languages and sings in 12 languages.
I am so glad you watched this. Most really good singers sing what they can. Dimash sings whatever he wants. Amazing.... Greetings from Yorkshire England. Take care. John.
Dimash does it all: Speaks 2 languages and learning another, sings in 12 languages, 7 octaves, plays 7 instruments, swims, red belt in tae kwondo, acts, models and has a phd in music. If there is anything Dimash wants he goes after it and will master it. It's Dimash's world and we're all just living in it. ;)
One of the other performers on the show gifted Dimash knee pads and a (rare) Chinese medicine for his throat when he was sick before a performance. The 3 on the couch are members of the group Lion and became good friends of Dimash. ( also Dimash can play 10 instruments I believe and sing in 12 languages)
Thank you again for your reaction! Dimash came in 1st on that day’s episode. He does play several instruments. Here’s a performance with Dimash on the dombra, which is played by many folks in Kazakhstan. Daididau - Bastau ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ra4v19Rp6cQ.html
He can do nearly everything, although he admits to not being able to cook! Yes - even backflips, too (seen during his 2019 Arnau concert in Kazakhstan)! P.S. You’ll probably find full translations if you search for Singer episodes with ‘Eng Subs’.
The lyrics for this were written by Lara Fabian. Adagio is an Italian musical term denoting a slow tempo, but these lyrics personify Adagio as a lover. The original music is known as Adagio by Albinoni (although it likely wasn’t really written by Albinoni. Most people still know it as Adagio by Albinoni.). This is my favourite of Dimash’s performances of Adagio. Dimash modelled parts of his performance after Lara Fabian’s interpretation. Love the reaction! (And Staci - I love the colour of your dress! Looks beautiful on you!). :)
Hi Guys, Excellent reaction as always, thought I'd better subscribe cos I've been watching your reactions and they're good ! Yeah Dimash won his first piano competition in his own city when he was 8yrs old and at 15yrs old he won young musician of the year in Kazakhstan again playing the piano. His teachers at the music school he attended said that when he was just 5yrs old he could immediately name any key they played, black or white notes, on the full piano keyboard. Btw his suit was especially made for the Singer comp with the material dyed to the exact pantone colour of the Kazakh flag. 👍👍👍😊😊
Great reaction! Dimash can't cook but he did do a backflip in his Arnau Kinetic Voice concert 😀 He won this episode of the show. Please react to Dimash singing "Samaltau"
Thanks for another delightful reaction. As others have mentioned, he plays quite a few instruments. There are compilation videos available on YT that shows him playing multiple instruments including piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, drums and other instruments. There's also a short video of him playing Daybreak on the ukulele. He won a national piano competition in Kazakhstan at age 6 so he's been playing piano a long time. He is also very adept at the dombra (Kazakh national instrument). You can see him playing it on Adai/Daididau on the Singer (ep. 7) and the very recent River of Love available on Dimash's YT channel.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, can do back flips & martial arts, does NOT cook, swims every chance he gets (helps his lungs for singing), is expert at soccer, rides horses, sings in multiple genres, 12-14 languages, speaks fluently in 3, has a 6+ octave range, is handsome & 6'3", models, is working on acting, has sung movie soundtracks & game soundtracks, his music videos are fantastic, is generous & giving - donating to a number of charities, does not drink (bad for vocals), doesn't curse, loves his family & friends & Dears, and more :)
👉The language of music is Italian. Adagio is an Italian word and is used in music to denote tempo, meaning: 'calm', 'slow', expressive- In this song is Adagio a name. The interpretation of the song by Dimash is great. He touches my heart and soul ... every time. This song belongs in Lara Fabian's repertoire, a world-famous singer and songwriter. She wrote the lyrics many years ago to this classical baroque melody that cannot be assigned to any particular artist with certainty. Today it is one of the most popular works of “classical music”. The composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song. You should definitely react to Lara Fabian. Then you understand why she is a great role model for Dimash. "ADAGIO" was written about 20 years ago by the very great LARA FABIAN. ADAGIO is a man's name. Do your self a favor and listen to the original. It is quite extraordinary. Lara wrote "YOUR LOVE" especially for Dimash. They are great friends. The great Russian composer, IGOR KRUTOY, wrote the music. He accompanies Dimash in many of his performances.
IDK if there is people named Adagio, it might be, but it's a musical term, a tempo marking used when music is supposed to be played slowly (allegro being the opposite). In this song it means slowly, with patience, don't rush (or in Dinglish it would probably be "Soon").
There’s a song to his Mom. Marigolds! He learned it in Ukrainian as he preformed it Ukraine and it’s a Ukrainian folk song. Make sure you get the English translation & the tissues😭❤️😁🤗💖
Of all the many beautiful and epic songs sing, Adagio is still on top of my selection. I first saw and heard Dimash sang this version when he was a guest at the Bazaar in 2016 right before he competed in the Singer in 2017 in China. I was highly impressed with his version and followed him since then. Thank you for a very nice reaction.
Hey can you guys react to Big Rodge - who?...... From Americanimals RU-vid page.🤷♂️🤷♂️ Its a very great song that dont get its dos in my opinion & It would be interesting to hear out your thoughts on the matter.🤔🤨🤔🤨
Adagio means slow tempo. You should have seen the audience and the other contestants when he walked out onto the stage. I suggest that you go to RU-vid and watch "The Ultimate Guide to Dimash". It is a very comprehensive look into the making of Dimash, with interviews, one when he was eleven yrs. old. The woman you mentioned actually won the competition. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the history of the show. So of course, they could let this "dark horse" upstage their beloved professional singers. The other singers were 12-39 yrs. his senior, and the producers did not think Dimash would make it past the second round. This was the third round Dimash won during the competition. You can watch entire episodes of The Singer 2017 at your leisure because some versions of it do have English subtitles. I did and I enjoyed most of the other singers as well. Plus, they were all exceptionally kind to Dimash knowing he was in a foreign country, away from his family, and did not speak any Mandarin. He was provided with a translator who accompanied him everywhere. He made a lot of appearances on tv shows while there and met his idol, Jackie Chan. You mentioned the back-up singers, what about that orchestra?
Mates! it seems that, you know all his movements, octaves!.. you rise with him at once! - the sign of the arms raised as a sign of victory!!.. brothers, you're no longer shocked - as in the first 2-3-4 reactions on RU-vid!.. already, you see them before, and on RU-vid - in relation to others!, just check them!.. from now on, you have a clear "NO" from me!
Hey guys, another enjoyable reaction. This is a cover of a song originally performed by Lara Fabian, and it was a major hit for her. Dimash's suit is in the color of his national flag. To answer some of your questions about Dimash, from what I gathered, Dimash is from a very musical family and started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim several hours every day doing underwater laps to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. His range is about 7 octaves now and spans across all five registers from a rich bass-baritone through to an extremely high soprano and whistle register, and he seems to effortlessly navigate them, often within a single breath. As you might already know, there are only 5 registers, from lowest to highest: vocal fry (pulse), chest voice, head voice, falsetto/flute, and whistle tone. Soprano is a vocal range and/or voice type - so Dimash can still sing the highest voice type, but he would be singing in that range using both his head voice and falsetto, and very occasionally whistle tone. He has even hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during a live performance. It has been recognized that his high notes are usually not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it’s spectacular. However, Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it.
Does he do backflips? Yes, and he did it on stage. Does he cook well? No Does he swim well? Yes, it's one of the ways he prefers to work out. Does he paint well? IDK but what I've seen looks better than anything I'm able to make. Does he play any instruments? Make a reaction to his latest MV on YT "River Of Love" and fins out. This was a fun reaction to watch, TY.

Per the blue suit...Dimashhas also appeared in various fashion magazines...such as Elle...They could put a burlap sack on that 6 ft 3 frame and he'd still be hot.
New subscriber, would you do a reaction to Daneliya Tuleshova she is friends with Dimash and is also from Kazakhstan. She won The Voice Kids Ukraine at 10 and has over 1 million subs on her channel she sings 2 songs in her audition for the show, and is now 14. Thanks for a great reaction Dimash is the man!!
He's been studying music professionally: school, vocational school, University BA, Masters. Now he's doing Phd. So, he's quite good at playing the piano. And at playing the dombra, the Kazakh national instrument. And also he can play some pieces on drums, the guitar (although using it as a dombra, playing only two strings)
A couple of factoids for you. Dimash won his first piano competition at age 6. His suit is actually the color teal, matching the main color of the Kazakh flag. Also during the reactions backstage, the lead singer of the Lion band, who is to our right of the guitarist with all the hair, states "It is so stressful to have to perform after him." No hate there though. All the competition loved Dimash for his humility compared to his talent, calling him "Little Brother" even though he towered over them all in height.
Dimash can play 7 musical instruments. He started his music journey with piano lessons and even participated in some competitions before his voice lessons,
You need to watch this new one where he plays this thing that looks like a guitar but with 2 strings. It almost all instrumental can't remember the name but it's great. He sings and talks 12 Lang. And plays 5-6 instruments.
you asked if he swims well - yes. He swam for several hours every single day in high school to develop his lung power/breath control. He says he still swims daily when he's home, and at hotels when there is time.
