The song speaks of the composition of Magzhan Zhumabayev, who is considered an exponent of Kazakh literature. When in 1928 he was sent to prison, and later sent to camps in North Karelia, Russia, Zuleikha followed him, no matter where he was taken, she always found him and came to see him everywhere. She went to great lengths to get him released from prison in 1936, even asking the famous writer Maxim Gorky for help. During his prison term, Zhumabayev received the lying news that his wife had abandoned him, in this sense Daididau was written as a lament for the lost love and suffering of the nation. But contrary to what he thought, outside his wife worked hard for his freedom and in 1934 his sentence was reduced and he was finally able to return to the family.
Thank you! And for not missing the newest uploads of Dimash's songs! Daididau is one of his famous songs wiith a real sad story behind it, tragical moments in Kazakhstan history (a poet being out into jail by Soviet regime for political views writes a letter to his wife... (My favorite is on Singer 2017 😌).
👌😌I Love It this song! The song for many years was considered a popular song. However, later on, scientists discovered that the song was written by a Kazakh writer, poet, scientist, and teacher, Magzhan Zhumabayev (1893-1938). Magzhan Zhumabayev was arrested and sent to prison. In prison they told him that his wife, the only love of his life, had abandoned him. It broke her heart and she wrote this poem about her love and the great pain she was in then. It turned out that his wife never left him (he had received false information), they met again when he got out of jail. Unfortunately, his happiness did not last long, he was again arrested and executed in 1938 as an enemy of the state. The author expressed his feelings to his wife, when he thought that they would never be together again
