I am 76 U.K. lady and heard SOS four years ago and have watched Dimash every day since. He has 100 songs in every genre. He is unassuming off stage, serious and intelligent. But in stage he explodes . I flew to Latvia to see him in his full on concert. He rocks the stage, dancers, lights, great backing musicians, graphics, no expense spared, He loves his fans and before the pandemic, comes down into the audience and gets fans to sing along with him. He released about a dozen songs this pandemic year, folk, rap, ballads, one almost a lullaby. You just don’t know what each one will be, Try something in English, like Screaming Idol Hits version or Across Endless Dimensions, his English is much better in them. In 2017 he didn’t know much at all but he sang The Show Must Go On and Adagio on that I Am Singer competition and they are magic.
@@jayandash As in regards to the audience they were Russian and they don’t do standing ovations, they give flowers I was told this by a Russian lady., The man that did stand was Igor a master at music whom then took on Dimash after hearing him perform you will see him in later in performances with Dimash

I think DIMASH's voice could cure Covid virus, it sure affects my sinuses such that I can breathe better after listening to him sing, and this song you just listened to I have heard it over 500 times(at least) in 4 years of hearing his voice daily for my own health and well-being, and I will go for 500+ more times, as I can't resist it, when I see someone react to it I just have to watch it again. I love every minute of it too. I'm surprised everyone in the world doesn't know who DIMASH is; after all he is the greatest singer in the universe.
The guy standing in the white shirt at the end is Igor Krutoy a famous billionaire Russian composer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. You’ll see him accompany Dimash on the piano in many of his performances. BTW Dimash sings in 12 languages, composes music and is a multi instrumentalist. He’s got his masters degree in music and is studying for his PhD. He’s also a very humble, good human being. He held a concert at the O2 in London in December 2012 and was amazing. I offer a little information about the song "Sinful Passion". This song is old. She's over 20 years old. Music by Baigali Serkebayev, and the words to this song were written by the famous contemporary Russian poet Ilya Resnick, author of many Russian music hits The first performer of this song was a singer from Kazakhstan Batyrkhan Shukenov (he died in 2015). Dimash sang this song for the first time in Russia in Sochi at the New Wave Festival on September 9, 2018. He didn't imitate the first performer. Dimash used all his phenomenal abilities and made a completely different interpretation of this song. I can't remember a single song where the singer changed 5 voices (from baritone to soprano) and 4 octaves in one song. And Dimash did it easily. At the end of the song, Dimash sang vocals for 22 seconds in one breath. Dimash tells a great story and draws us into it. Many viewers cry, others have chills. And all together they sit like under hypnosis

That's why I am devoted to posting reminders that Dimash fans (Dears) who have succeeded in propelling him to #1 in requests on MTV over the past four weeks in a row can use the help of other Dears in seeing to it that Dimash retains his deserved place at the top. I'd like to recommend for one of your next reactions Dimash's splendid cover of The Show Must Go On by Queen / Freddie Mercury. There is so much energy in that performance, and he does not simply sing a cover version, but he makes the song his own.

Dimash had a solo concert in the UK in November 2018 at the O2 Arena's Indigo Hall. I was at his first US concert December 2019. When you see him live it is more unbelievable that the voice is his. It's electrifying.

The song he sang was written by the keyboard player in this video. The keyboard player, bass player, and guitar player are the original group members of A-Studio, and this song was a hit for them in the late 90's. They are still writing, and performing. The note at the end was 25 seconds. This performance was in Russia, they seem to be a little more subdued, but it is more customary to remain seated . LOL Dimash receives dozens and dozens of flowers wherever he goes, and whatever country he is in. :) He is even greeted at airports all over the world with flowers and gifts. He does give the flowers to people backstage, donates them to aging home, hospitals, etc. He even wears the jewelry and clothing he receives, as confirmed by those that have given things to him. Dimash does now travel with body guards, or security, for some crowd control, but he still meets and greets his fans. Dimash says he will be moving to the US for a while, at some point, to promote, and perform his music.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. They're very reserved there, not that they can do much about the Dears with the flowers. The bald guy that did stand up is a mega-rich composer called Igor Krutoy who now composes and works with Dimash on quite a lot of his later work, depending on the fit of their styles. As Dimash can pretty much sing anything, they almost always gel.

The show is a competition for well known professional singers in China. Dimash was invited to participate as a wild card and wasn’t expected to go very far in the competition. Competing singers (there were 10 finalists) performed live on stage and the 500-member audience panel (all connected to the music industry) voted, deciding the outcome of the results in knockout rounds - a gruelling process for competitors. He was the first foreigner to perform on the show and he was 22 at the time. As the least known artist Dimash was first up to perform. He sang SOS and became an overnight sensation in China with something like 600 million views on Hunan TV. Calls about him crashed the switchboard. From there he gained a global fan base. He will turn 27 in May. Dimash has it all - amazing voice and range, versatility, power, stage presence; he is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and sings in many languages. @@jayandash The Voice are opened to amateurs. I Am A Singer (name currently changed to SINGER) shows are ONLY for invited established professional singers. Dimash was the EXCEPTION here. He was invited by the show's producers as an experimental wild card competitor. Unlike the rest of the competitors on this show who are already established and popular in China.....Dimash was a total unknown in China, had never sung in China before. This ICONIC PERFORMANCE took China as well as all the people on this show by surprise. Upon premiere broadcast of this performance, Dimash became an overnight celebrity in China that needed bodyguards to go about in China. He has never looked back since though Covid - 19 pandemic stalled his music career somewhat.

This was the moment he decided to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I miss you, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve. There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts.
