Dimash will be participating in a Jazz Festival May 22-24 in Japan. He will be performing with Herbert Jeffrey Hancock, American jazz pianist (14 Grammy prizes) and Joshua Redman saxophone grammy prize nominee. But if you knew him better...you would see he's not really what you think. Of course the girls love him...you might want to take notes....and Dimash loves them..but,.he loves everybody. I am that lady =) I had blast, thanks for shoutout. I am glad you guys remembered me. I laughed from shock so loud my roommate looked at me like i was crazy. BTW i am from Czech Repubic. You know, Prague. Heart of Europe. Dimash has European tour and he is in Prague 25.3. I cant wait to see him. Only thing is i have means to the concert but not back home so i will spent either 2,5k CZK (115 USD - and thats a LOT in CR) on taxi or i will end up sightseeing for 5 hours until first train - but i will GO! (Unless they cancell it due corona, but i hell hope not.) People tell you good songs to listen and its true you shoud do quicker songs too but i call them "Di´s recovery songs", they arent so impressive vocaly, but nice to listen nevertheless. My tops (from each of top languages he sings in) are Ogni Pietra (italian - epic opera), Love of tired swans (russian - slower), Daybreak from Bastau concert (chinesse - just wow), Screaming Idol hits (english - its most pop-ish and catchy) and Salmatau (kazach - traditional). Wow i ended up with paragraph like you guys joked about. I will end it here. One more time thaks for shoutout. (p.s. I am starting to like Brian. Dont tell him that. =) )

Dimash is singing twice "I love you" on Chines language in the end of the song. There is live performance - Chines competition I'm singer" 2017. Time for training and preparing new composition was very short - new song should be ready each week ... Total - 14 week. He builds composition of cavers and his songs usual by him self. He is magister of music now (finished his education in the summer 2020).

It took a while for Dimash to grow on me, like he is to you all. The first few times I heard him I didn't care for him much, though I did give him more and more credit as a singer with each song I heard, simply because of his range and control. Finally, I heard some songs I knew, then I started understanding his music more and liking him. However, I wasn't in front of a cam, like y'all. So, y'all have my utmost respect, love the honesty. Got to say, I like the honesty you guys give. It's refreshing. =) He performs a song called Drunken Concubine (includes Diva Dance) with a Chinese man (don't recall his name). It's weird, but cool. 🙂

One of Dimash's original songs and probably one of the hardest songs ever written is "Ogni Pietra" (aka "Olympico"). It's a pop-operatic song, majestic and anthemic in style, but Dimash's vocals are really on another level on this one. His Arnau performance is the best, in my opinion. You can find it on the official Igor Krutoy's channel (the composer Dimash is working with lately) and it's copyright free, as Dimash really wants his videos to be shared. "Sinful Passion" is of course another song where he goes bananas, I also recommend it. It's really crazy.

Dimash had a sell out concert in the Barclay Center in New York in Dec. I flew from Texas to New York to see him and that is the only time in my life I even considered flying to see an artist. People from 67 different countries flew in as well. It was fantastic. You can easily view the entire concert on his official You Tube channel. He also did a cover of Celine Dion's , My Heart Will Go On.

Lionel Ritchie has a copy made from the night - i believe he was impressed :) - he does all genre but is not keen on being controlled by record groups etc -at the moment he is sticking to songs that will delight for decades

I'm watching you from Hungary and I'm glad you didn't give up testing the Dimash videos. I don't think there's anything wrong with someone telling their honest opinion. I can't like him, either, it's optional,,, you have to understand that the fans (by the way, I'm a fan) I've been listening for 40 years, i've been doing music,,, I used to play music myself,,, I've heard a lot of music and a lot of great singers. Somehow, Dimash was almost hypnotized,,, and I couldn't answer it myself,,, only when I knew his personality. His vocal skills are impressive, of course, but the secret with which he captures a man is the way he performs, his personality,,, to do that, of course, I had to watch a lot of videos to figure out,,, and first-in-the-first concert recordings. There are a lot of official and fan concert recordings up there,,, I first saw New York, I showed it to musician acquaintances and they said ,,, it was a very good concert,,, and many people consider Bastau, Gakku concerts to be the best. Well, I think they all have songs that stand out. Bastau concert at the Daybreak, Gakku concert on Unforgettable Day. I've had a little long to say,,,, so I'm recommending these first.
