Sometimes you have more interest in the person reacting than in the singer. Jerome is amazing to listen to! This is not my favourite SOS by Dimash. There is too much affectation, accentuation of his voice. It feels over performed to me. That doesn't take away from Dimash's amazing voice and performance and obviously he's gone on to sing a range of great renditions of other songs. For this song I prefer a certain simplicity. (It is possible his voice is changing as he advances in years. No shame in that, singers need to embrace the evolution and grow with it). PS Giving the award to his grandmother is a lovely, heartwarming gesture! Still love Jerome!
