I found DIMASH in March, this year and he kept me sane during my lockdown. I love watching reaction videos so I can see how I must have looked during my first time, LOL. He has been gifted by GOD and it's a blessing to have found him.

Dimash. He is the embodiment of musical talent (natural pitch perfect, unusual longer larynx) + discipline (hardworking, constant daily training since 5) + academic (education, several degrees, a master and now starting his doctorate in music) + strong cultural background (instruments, folk songs, ancient poems, classical which he like to combine with current pop, techno, jazz, rock style). The competition was for professional singers only. Dimash was invited as a wild card. He was some sort of experimental by the SINGER program. Dimash had just finished his master's degree in Composition and has recently started his PhD in musicology. He was 22 when this video was taken. The French people were proud of him for singing this french song in China. The judges are the audience composed of 500 persons who were carefully selected. The people you see in the room were his competitors. Great reaction. Please do more reaction of him.

Dimash current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and 3 semi tones. This is the summary of Dimash performances. Dimash never confirmed that and keep his range in a secret. Last year he release his first digital music album "iD",which became platinum only in 37 seconds after releasing and 3x platinum only in one hour! Amazing!

Here is some more info about Dimash. He was 22 when he went on China's 'I am Singer' and he is 26 now. He was an unknown wildcard from Kazakhstan and the youngest competitor against famous and established Chinese singers. He was the very first contestant in the 14 week long competition and quickly gained fame in China. The rest of the world is finally discovering him. He is not only the best singer in the world but he is humble, kind, sweet, adorable, loving, and smart. (He just completed his Masters degree in composition and received a mark of 100% on his thesis. He is now working toward his PHD.) Dimash can sing beautifully in any genre from opera to rap. I know most people say he has a 6 octave range, but he keeps working so hard on his vocals that I think it is even higher now!! (One reactor has checked out his range and says it is now 7 octaves!!) I am one of his "Dears" (fans) and I so enjoy when someone discovers him for the first time. Minds are blown!! Please react to more of his songs, you won't be disappointed. Well, hello and welcome to the wonderful world inhabited by Dimash Kudaibergen. His voice is just beautiful and as he has had 20+ years of training his range and agility is astonishing. Couple that with humility, kindness, a supportive family, a driving work ethic, beauty and a piercing intellect and this is distilled into perhaps the most astonishing singer you may ever hear. One additional step could have been to look up the song lyrics. Dimash has a very loyal and large fan base. This is from a combination of his singing/performing and his qualities as a person (and for women: his looks and his passion). He is very supportive of his country and culture, which he promotes. Dimash performed and competed for years in his country, but the Chinese show performance of SOS (yes, it is in French) in 2017 was his breakout to world-wide recognition. Generally, people will recommend Sinful Passion and Opera 2 as the next ones to watch. Then there will be more. But watch these first so you can also experience his progression. Dimash's voice continues to improve. And probably as part of maturing, his voice now seems to have a stronger low range. You will experience that with more recent works. His pronunciation of French and English also are notably better now.

Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

Dimash was well-known in Kazakhstan before he competed in this show since he won many competitions there. However, he was invited as an experiment to this competition ( I am Singer) because he wasn't Chinese. Here he gained worldwide popularity. Since then, other artists who aren't Chinese such as Jessie J have been invited to the show. Dimash has also returned each year as a guest not a competitor to perform. He of course didn't go this year though

He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schollld sens 5 years old and told the teachur that the piano was out of tune! He Sings aboute 7 oktaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodygard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasent really preaperad for that. He had come to China him self and dident knew the laughuich. He dident think they would like him.
